Both communal and private campsites. Private campsites are 300 NAD pppn, which is far too expensive for what you get. The private ablution was full of mosquitos and could benefit from some tlc, sites are right next to each other, the pool was opaque, full of flies, and had a very strong chlorine smell. The restaurant was ok, but nothing special. On Saturday evening, there was loud music coming from the village.

A beautiful campsite with 4 sites with own ablution blocks and 6 with shared ablution blocks. Nice hot shower and a small swimming pool. A place to stay for a few nights, to visit Khaudum National Park, the bushmen and the pans. And to relax. I love the place

Report Check-In

campsite as written before, friendly staff at reception. not well maintained ablutions, warm water only in 1 shower out of three and in this one the light is out of order. no wifi detected at cs, but full signal and H+. at all good for a stop over. 146N$ p.p.

This is a cozy campsite with very warm and welcoming staff and nice landscaping. We had a great evening here after crossing in from Botswana. There isn’t much shade but they have a nice bar where we spent a few hours in the heat of the day. At night elephants came to the water hole where you can watch them from their elephant bar. It is reasonably priced at $150 PP and you can pay by credit card. Abolitions are clean and shared, sites have electricity. Nice place!

Report Check-In

Six sand spacious camp spots with braai and fixed table.
Running water and light.
Restaurant and bar, cottages. We camped and paid 292 N for two.
Friendly staff, clean ablutions, water hole that elephants visit. Dinner available but not great.
Great place to visit the Khaudum National park. 50k away and should not be missed. We visited three water holes with elephant at all.

We crossed the Dobe border from Botswana quite late in the afternoon and we ended up choosing this place for the night. Nice sandy campsites with electricity and clean ablution block close by. Hot water in the shower, and also sinks outside for laundry/dishes and also water tap at the campsite. Also with a fire pit.
It was nice with trees. At first we were the only one at the campsite (6 campsites available + rooms) but 2 others join a little later. It was quiet and we had plenty of room for intimacy.
No wifi, I could pay with Visa in the morning.

Nice campsite, as previously described. Not much shade at the pitches though, and the ablutions could do with a bit of a clean! We only had cold showers too. They told us no WiFi, so I think they've given up trying with that!

NAD146 pppn. We could pay with credit card - but only in the mornings as network was too bad in the afternoon!

In general I would certainly recommend as a great stopover on route to Dobe or Khaudom.

Report Check-In

Campsites, with braai stand, water and electricity. Clean ablutions. 116 pppn. No wifi.

Camping on sand with you own braai place, power, a place to do dishes, water and nice toilet block with hot water. The lodge has a restaurant and bar, and they do have WIFI that we did not try because we were told it was really slow. There is also a small swimming pool.
