Something not right?

Description

It's the parking lot of a small restaurant right in front of the beach. The owner, Miss Flor, is a great host. She wouldn't charge us for spending the night in our camper as long as we consumed something from her restaurant (tuna steak with patacones 5$, beer 1$). Great views and very calmed place.

Still 1 dólar a beer.
Nice beach
Good shade

Report Check-In

Beautiful and shady place, wide and clean beach, friendly host family. Prices have risen a bit, $7 for fish with rice and salad, beer still $1 :-) The best place we found so far since Panama City. Toilet and shower, clean (as the whole lot seems well-cared for)

Camped here for 4 nights in our van in exchange for buying some food at Flor's restaurant and we also helped with some yard work (got to keep some spare coconuts). This was my favourite beach camping spot in Panama - swimmable beach especially in the afternoon, nice people, toilet, outdoor shower, can accommodate large vehicles and non 4x4. I would highly recommend this spot and while you're there look up Escuela sin Fronteras (https://escuelasinfronteras-mundo.com/home) to see if you can drop in on an English class for locals.

Slept here for one night. Very nice spot next to the beach. The spots are big enough for vans and bigger motorhomes. In exchange for food you can park ther for free. (very cheap; 1$ beer or water, 3-5$ meal; good yummy local food).

No showers but a toilet.

Report Check-In

A small restaurant as described. Good food, cheap, 1$ a beer 3$ a meal! You can camp on the parking lot just on exchange for food you buy at the restaurant. We didn’t stay because the shower and toilet are really precarious...
