Comfortable and clean guesthouse with good meals. We paid 200som per person which included dinner and breakfast. Sure you could stay down the road at the hotel for half price, but after paying for dinner you would be spending the same, why not support a local family.

Lovely homestay at Sherali and his family. We definitely felt like home and really enjoyed our stay here. We stayed for 2 nights because we got surprised by a lot of snow in the first night. We had Chai and bread when we arrived, dinner, the next day breakfast, lunch and dinner and then again breakfast when we left. They served soup, potatoes, eggs, fresh bread, plov and dumplings. Everything was delicious. It was plenty of food and we also always got plenty of chai. Sherali and his family are super kind and nice people, he speaks good English. Although we slept in Sheralis house (the actual guesthouse is in the other building), they gave us some privacy. The toilet is outside, which is really not a problem.
We paid 1000 Somoni for two nights and the food for 2 people. We highly recommend staying here!

After a long day cycling we arrived at this place. The woman and men who run this place are very friendly. we recommend this place. The shower was the best shower we had in weeks (warm), and we liked the fresh bread. The 'living room' is comfortable and cosy.
the price is 180 somoni including breakfast and dinner. There is a safe space to park your bike/car.

We asked for a hot shower in the afternoon and it wasn't possible. We had a lunch there which was tasty for 40 somoni fof two, though it took an hour to prepare it. We didn't sleep there.

Erali speaks fluent english and is interesting to talk to. Gave me some new perspective on life of kyrgyz people in Tajikistan. Also gave me some great info on the Barthang valley crossing. Guest house has everything and laundry and shower are possible but it takes some time to heat it up. Food was very tasty.

Really charming guest house. The owners are a sweet older couple. The food is great and has a hot shower. My radiator sprung a leak and they let me work on the bike in the back and drove me to the shop to buy more coolant. We stayed 2 days and were very pleased.
