They're paving a 1 mile section of the road and the dirt detour road was hairy - definitely required 4wd for about 1/4 mile. The main road was mostly done; we anticipate this being a short term detour.

Report Check-InRoad seems to have been severley storm damaged beyond this point. we drove it in a large 4wd sprinter but there were a few pretty sandy spots.
it was a super fun drive but took double the google estimate. I would not do it in 2wd
