Latest Check-Ins

The boat ramp parking lot was not level enough for our rig, so we headed down the “dead end” curve off to the left and had a wonderful overnight stay just outside the gated area. We were right above the river, and enjoyed a beautiful sunset and a quiet evening. Idaho’s flies, however, are abundant and very persistent! Note: this area will only work for a camper-van, auto, or truck camper...no space for a trailer or a fifth-wheel.

Rarely beautiful, but I got here late at night/early in the morning and an officer from the shariffs department came to tell me that camping was generally not allowed here, tho he didn’t make me move

Great spot. One other van on a Friday night. Only tiny bugs that didn’t bother me.

Beautiful secluded place to camp. The bugs are something else though. Don't open your windows and you'll be fine

Beautiful, quiet, peaceful wildlife refuge! There were a ton of pelicans which was fun to watch! The small waterfall is beautiful! Nice to have bathrooms open all night (they’re pit toilets). What I assume is workers started arriving around 6:30am but they didn’t bother me at all :) Great place!

Beautiful place. Very little traffic in February, only heard 2 cars drive by. We went into the state park the next day and played disc golf. We didn’t enter the parking lot due to heavy snows and it looked quite muddy, as some tracks were a foot deep in the mud. Thanks so much for posting this spot. We thoroughly enjoyed it.

Report Check-In

Small gravel lot with the sound of the river cascading over a rock ledge across from the lot. Some night fishing traffic, but fine for one night.

Easily accessible, flat parking area. Pit toilets and trash barrel accessible. We were the only vehicle here on a Saturday night.
