Ecuador
Tiny town called Progreso. No hotels or accommodation, but guys at the store said I could camp at the church, which has a large concrete lot next to it. Doesn't seem to be anyone around, but everyone from the town has been super nice and friendly. Entrance to the lot is off a dirt road that pops off the main road. Pretty large dirt entrance ramp which could probably accommodate any civilian sized vehicle, but no big rigs.
I'm assuming this is free.

Church is still here and the road is still good packed-dirt. Quiet and incredible views; did not stay but it looked very nice
Report Check-Inchurch is now yellow and white perfect place for overnight stay. quite in the night.
Report Check-InGreat spot for the night on the way to the border to Peru. The parking lot of the church is big and flat. We asked the man living across the street if we could park for the night and he said no problem. Quiet.
