Most quiet and lonely place we found close to town. It is aside one of the old water reserves build by slaves with a great view to the mine at cero rico as well as over the town. Thanks to attitude sickness we spend two nights here to acclimate. The last km road was in bad condition, but we made it at the first try without 4x4 car.

after several years it's still a really good place ! We slept here 2 nights, it was quite with a good view on the city and cerro rico !
The best way is not easy to find because there are a lot of dirt roads.
That's why a 4wd is highly recommended even without rain
we sleept up here one night luckily we had a 4x4.
there is an other entrance with the better Street, we left this way and it would by okey for normal cars to make it up the hill (high cars)just stones on the streets.. by the way it's quicker thru here!
GPS are located at the good Street entrance
Because of the rain, the path is not good at this time. We couldn't go to the end. (We took the right path, maybe it's better on the left, but didn't try). But we slept near the ruins 1km before the point, which was as well a quiet solution.
Report Check-InIndeed a nice and quit spot to stay overnight close to town. Nobody around at night. Road uphill in bad condition, 4x4 recommended. No water in the lake at this time of the year.
