Something not right?

Description

Good campsite. Lots of space but no shade and directly at the sea (can be windy). Grassy pitches which have their own braai, shared and clean abolutions. The showers are nice and hot! At least the first day when we were there, the second day they were ice-cold! When we asked about it at the reception the lady was not very helpful and did not seem to care.

No WiFi available.

We paid 139,- ZAR per night, two persons and a 4WD.

Although we enjoyed our stay the first day, the second day was a complete different experience. Very unfriendly and unhelpful staff.

I guess when you arrive in the weekend and there are more people staying this is a nice place to stay. Otherwise you are just a moneybox.

A stunning campsite right on the beach with panoramic views. Everything was just perfect.

This is a typical SA campsite. Everything is ok, nice spots. Also paved equal spots, nice for rooftoptents.

We paid R350 for the spot.

We arrived on a Saturday 15h, the office was closed. But very friendly security staff at the gate. You need a code for the ablutions, it changes sometime.
Shower was not hot, just warm, in the afternoon.
Mobile data 4G at campsites.
Different prices for IN and OUT of season. Pensioners get 20% discount (out of season only)

Nice place but very windy when we were here. All is clean. We paid 153R for a normal site, out of season. If you want to stay at the seafront in the season the tariff is 248R. It depends on your wishes and the season. The lady at the reception was a little bit grumpy. Recommend!
