Right at the end of the road in front of the beach we found this place. We were looking for the camping near by and once we saw it we decided it would be better just to park on the side of the road.

Very pleasant place, spacious and flat, safe and right on the beach, shaded by coconut trees, with a nice breeze to cool you down. We arrived on Sunday and there were a lot of people but the next day it was very empty. There are restaurants very close by. The beach is not very big, but we were able to walk.
Report Check-InWide open beach site- not even at the weekends get crowded (can not bc it’s so huge)
We parked enough far from everything > no music no bugs no problems
We had a decent dip too
update: in the river are cocodrillos and they are (recently) swimming to the boat dock on the other side for the free meal (the fish heads were thrown in to the sea there) no snorkeling and co but near to the shore are dipping/floating is ok
Report Check-InSame as the previous comment : from the main entrance road, we went left and then right near the picnic tables and the large flat grassy area. Loud music from local bar on sunday evening until 10pm sharp. Then, it was a very quiet and peaceful night !
Report Check-InGreat place to sleep. We did not stay on the roadside but in the car park on the left then right, facing the sea with picnic tables. Very quiet and beautiful beach
Report Check-InGreat spot on grass in front of a restaurant, local people around and street lights, felt really safe. Calm swimming, quetzales, not too many bugs. No privacy though! We stayed one night.
Report Check-InStopped for lunch on way back from Santa Theresa, still looks like a nice place to park overnight, lots of shade and tables and chairs
Report Check-InStill looks good to camp. Didn’t camp here but stopped by during the day on the way across the peninsula and no one was around - open/exposed enough to be safe but off the main road enough to be a nice camping setup right by the ocean. A few options for baños nearby.
Report Check-InUn tranquilo pueblo, mucha sombra y playa amplia. Nos pareció seguro
