40 bolivianos por persona

Lugar muy tranquilo, con todas las comodidades para viajeros en auto o camping.

Javier es muy buena onda, un tipazo.

Report Check-In

Excellent location. We ended up here for many days as there were roadblocks on the highways and we could not go forward or backward! How lucky that we had the option of saying here. Previous comments say it all. Wonderful place.

Some tips:

You must contact Javier by WhatsApp before arrival as there is no signage and space is tight. Look for a white wrought iron gate. (Not the solid white metal gate that is just a few meters away.) The gate is not locked and you only need to adjust the chain to open the gate. Camping is on the left through another black gate, usually open.

The J bus (2 bolivianos) will take you everywhere. (J50 is not necessary!) To get to the bus, turn left from the white gate at the campground and wait at the corner. The buses come by frequently. The J bus goes directly to the big market via Avenida America, Avenida Libertada and Avenida Ayacucho.

There are lots of small shops within easy walking distance of the campground. The J bus will take you to an intersection (Avenida America and Avenida Gabriel Rene Moreno) where you can walk 5 min to an excellent HiperMaxi There are many ATMs there as well.

The J bus will easily get you to the laundromat (pinned on iOverlander) along Avenida America.

increíble lugar, construcción saliendo de la cabeza de Javier arquitecto, es muy agradable hospedarse allí, vinimos dos veces varios días todas las comodidades
incredible place, construction coming out of the head of Javier architect, it is very pleasant to stay there, we came there twice several days all the amenities

Report Check-In

Great and peaceful location close to the city.
While previous reviews have mentioned Lobo, the German shepherd; we had only positive interactions with him. We have an older dog who does not play and Lobo was content to lay near him and follow him around the yard while also respecting his space.
Definitely an amazing space with unique architecture and amazing bathrooms! Make sure you whatsapp before arrival.

Report Check-In

Checking in for a pet update: we are travelling with our 4-month puppy. Lobo the local German Sheperd didn’t give any problems - quite the opposite. He played a lot and very patiently with our puppy. The place in our opinion is perfect for a dog, as he can roam around freely and have a nice time and some company. The owners also were really friendly with us and our pup. Plenty of good recommendations about Cochabamba and further destinations.

Report Check-In

Since the remark about pets was 6 years old and made by only one other overlander, we decided to ask Javier in advance. We travel with a cat. He quickly and friendly replied there were some other cats around and he didn't think it would be a problem. Wrong! You really can't stay here if you have a pet of your own. Unfortunately the other campground has apparently 5 dogs... We searched for 2 days and literally couldn't find any place like at a hostel, where you can camp in your car and with your own pet. So if you do come to this city with a pet be prepared to wild camp on the street.

Report Check-In

One of the best campingplace that we visit in Bolivia. You can use clean bathrooms, enjoy the beautiful garden and speak to the nice Peoble. So enjoy and have a good time!

Report Check-In

Very beautiful and unique camping! 40bob a person which is less than how much we paid for other campsites in Bolivia which were much worse! Everywhere was very clean and nice, you can even use the kayaks for free around the pond. The owner was very nice and helped me a lot when I was feeling ill

Report Check-In

how lucky we can be, that Javier is sharing his garden in front of his architectual fantastic house with us overlanders. nice the open hot showers, the clean bathroom. Top! Comfortable the very close colectivo that brings you to the center.

Report Check-In

Great place to stay, costs 40 Bol pp, good wifi, clean and good showers and toilets. We stayed 10 days! Javier is very friendly and helpfull, created this beautiful place and sings very good grunge songs.
We have a big rig and could stay right next to the garden (see photo), no hight restriction.
Javier responds quick via WhatsApp.

Like written below: very nice place to stay with beautiful garden and architecture. The showers and toilet are amazing both visually and clean. It's a bit out of town, but very doable with taxi or even the bus. There is an amazing Italian restaurant about a 10 minute walk away. Cochabamba itself is also a nice city to explore with some good food and drink options. Pleasantly surprised by everything.

Report Check-In

amazing! relaxed, clean, nice to see everything, very special place. we were really surprised! we were lucky Javier was at home when we came. better to send a message in before. bus J starts from the terminal in cochabamba, 2Bs

Report Check-In

really an unbelievable and fantastic place. Javier and his family are excellent hosts, we enjoyed a wonderful day of rest and peace.

Report Check-In

The place is simply unbelievable! We thought it was a normal campground, but it is a great space for leisure and rest. In addition to camping with bathrooms, hot showers, a complete shared kitchen, water and electricity, the place has unbelievable underwater huts for 2 or 4 people or a group of friends. There is a white horse and 3 llamas, 2 peacocks, geese, ducks, many birds and Lobo, a friendly German shepherd. Not to mention the architecture of the place itself, which looks like it came out of a movie! Javier and his family made us feel at home, we were treated very well, they even put a television on so we could watch the Brazil game in the World Cup and they cooked for us! We made a bonfire in front of the lake, we sang in the karaoke that they offer and we had sensational days. This is all for 40 bolivianos per person. The regular price is 60 bolivianos, but there is a discount for travelers. Honestly, the price is too cheap for the place. It's not just camping, it's a complete experience! Oh, and Javier accepted our dogs, but if you have one, better talk to him first. The place has many animals. We recommend talking to him on WhatsApp: +59174363869.
Oh, and on Saturday night Felipe, a Brazilian, makes a wonderful pizza there. We were only going to stay 1 night and we couldn't leave before 1 week!

We stayed for three nights and had a wonderful time. The outdoor bathroom is amazing. The family is very hospitality. Don't forget to inform Javier befor you get there. Also that he can open the white gate for you. 40 Bols p.P.p.N.

We spent three nights in our truck camper in this gorgeous spot. The showers are hot and super unique, nice bathrooms, great kitchen to use and a setting that is so tranquil and relaxing. Javier and his family are very kind, helpful and great to talk with, and Lobo is the sweetest dog. We even had the tortuga wandering around the grass our last day. Highly recommend and very happy we stayed at this place. He also has caves you can rent to stay in which are incredibly cool! We paid 80/night for two of us in our truck camper and 40 for a bottle of wine (has has a small selection of wine and beer for purchase).

Report Check-In

Spent 4 nights here to explore Cochabamba. First of all Cochabamba is a really nice city and we really enjoyed it. Then, this place is unique all over the world we think. Its a architectural house with a little bit of a Gaudi feeling. Many animals, especially at his fathers side. But Javier has a nice dog Lobo. On Saturday evening there is Pizza night and Sunday they serve breakfast. Not loud at all so no troubles sleeping. 80 pn for a van or camper. The bathroom is also super unique with cool rain showers. Text him before you arrive.

Report Check-In

Can confirm great spot to camp. Hot showers clean bathrooms etc. Only thing gets really busy with locals fri/sat night, so don’t expect an early nights sleep those days. Great pizza those nights though (+artenesal beer). You can get the wood fired pizza delivered on all other nights. Place to ourselves Monday night.

Report Check-In

we had a very nice stay at this place, Javier was very nice. 40bs per person per night,
the location is wrong, access is through white gate, no height restriction

Report Check-In

Un lugar Mágico. Cuesta un poco llegar pero vale la pena. Disfrutas de la arquitectura sinérgica con la naturaleza, un lago y la excelente atención de Javier su dueño.

Report Check-In

I think the owner don't really want any overlanders here, we come a Sunday and try to contact him by WhatsApp without issue. After trying the bell, his neighbor comes and he phone him with an other number, the owner say this we cannot come due to a children birthday but the next will be OK. So we contact him the next day, and he says all is employed are on a day free, we ask if we can come and never have an answer!!

Report Check-In

Due to the arched gate, we (2.3m wide, 3.0m height) could not enter and ended up in fathers property. Of course, WiFi is even weaker there and the facilities are 2 gates away. Although fancy, the shower is often difficult to handle (gas heater does not ignite).

Report Check-In

Such a wonderful place, we didn't want to leave! Just call Javier by WhatsApp and he'll meet you at the gate. We are 3.05m tall and had no problems fitting through the gate. Bigger rigs can park on his father's property nextdoor. Power, water, clean bathrooms, and hot showers. We parked near the gate and had no problems. Such a tranquil place to spend a few days. The J50 bus runs regularly to town (2 Bol) and taxis from center are about 25 Bol. Highly recommended!

Report Check-In

We called ahead via WhatsApp and Javier met us at the gate. We are 2.9m tall, 2.1m wide and fit . He had us park on grass near the entry as there is a decorative gate we couldn't fit under. Still 40B pp pn. Super helpful host. Quiet at night, just a few frogs. Wifi was slow the first few days but Javier upgraded and it did get much better but was not consistent. Peaceful place. There's a really good pizza place less than a km away.

Report Check-In

designed for bringing peaceful time in contact with nature. special original , if you want to relax and recharge good energy in your journey.

Report Check-In

Agree with previous comments re a lovely and tranquil place. For us travelling 2 up on the moto and camping we required a flat area to cook (rather than the grass area) and an area to wash our dishes (rather than the bathroom sinks) so possibly a space that included these would be a great addition, particularly for those camping. Otherwise we caught the bus from out front that tock us straight into Centro for 2 B. Cost was 40b pp. We have added to the photos.
it hasnt been mentioned but it may be worthwhile contacting Javier prior if you have a big rig or large motorhome as there may be height restrictions with the front gate and decrotive archways in the garden. In saying that i believe there is also an alternative entrance....just call first to ask.

Report Check-In

Very nice, sweet architecture. Similar to gaudi, but has its own merit.
Missing kitchen and laundry service.
Beautiful gardens.
Very energetic dog, German Shepherd.
Owner very friendly.

Report Check-In

Very nice clean place. Javier is changing internet provider so wifi should shortly be faster. The entrance gate is 3m25 high and inside there place for 2 big rigs plus plenty of space for tents and smaller vans. Relaxing place to stay.

Absolutely nice space !!! green, quiet and super clean.
Very nice owner, Javier. Friendly and open minded.
We went to the city center with the J 50 that stops in front of the door.
Totally conveniet bus conection and super recomendable place !!!
Always contact Javier per wsp before to make sure that her is there to receive you.

This place is stunningly beautiful: a magnificent garden with a lake , like a fairytale at night. A very creative bathroom with a garden on the roof. Javier did everything to make my stay enjoyable- he even tied his beloved dog so that it did not bother me.
The bus stops frequently just outside the gate.
Don‘t miss the hotel he and his father built and opened 2 months ago. I had lunch there, very nice indeed, for incredible 35 BOB.
Staying on this campsite feels like a privilege, it is so lovingly looked after and luxurious. 40 BOB is a gift for all this.
It is difficult to leave this magic place

Report Check-In

Beautiful garden of architect Javier Moscoso with remarkable Gaudi like architecture. Hot outside shower and toilets, electricity (but put your cable in the trees or Lobo might chew on it). Javier is very friendly and helpful, but not around much, so if you decide to stay here we suggest you get in contact ahead of your arrival. We found and booked the place at Airbnb for 17 euro a night. If you book directly, you'll pay 120 Bob (the same).Taxi into the centre of town is 25-30 Bob. There are also buses passing by regularly (2 Bob pp). No pets, because of German shepherd Lobo.
