Description

30km south along EN1. Accommodation in neat little cabins. Clean bathrooms, beds with nets and nice restaurant / bar. Set in a well kept, beautiful wooded area with walking trails. Good bird and wildlife. We paid 1,400Mt for double cabin. Didn't appear to have camping available when we asked, but would be perfect setting, maybe you just need to find right person to ask!

Fabulous stopover. Great hosts. Info as in previous post. A restful stop after the 150kms of challenging road coming from Gorongoza Adventure camp. Don’t underestimate this road!

Good for stopover between Quelimane and Vilankulo. Friendly staff, very clean and stylish shared ablutions with hot shower and also toilets next to the restaurant. The cheapest wooden hut costs 1150mt and has two beds with Miskito net, fan and shelves. Restaurant has various prices, we had half a chicken with plenty of rice that we shared for dinner (410 mt), breakfast from 130 mt (eggs on toast). Recommended!

Great little spot for a stopover. From Caia down to Inchope is a pig of a road (took us over 5 hours from Mphwinge) so a good place from which to launch south.
The bugs here are also intense, but awesome. It's like a bug safari.
