Posting because it's been awhile since anyone has checked in here. This is a wonderful place to stay & explore. It was very quiet overnight. Several people stopped in this morning, most just for a bathroom break. We took the time to walk the trail & thoroughly enjoyed it. I did pick up 2 Walmart bags of trash before leaving. There is a big dumpster with a lid here. Please pick up after yourself so we can keep these sites
available to us!
A BLM rest stop with shelter, picnic table, and pit toilet. There isn't much room for an RV at the rest area but adjacent is a large and level area where a natural gas pipe passes through. It was quiet overnight. There are two hiking trails to ancient native American sites. No Verizon signal.
Report Check-InGreat spot for an overnight! Tons of petroglyphs with Interpretive trail. Lots of beautiful scenery too. One truck came by along the main road with a spot light then drove on by. Bathrooms were pretty good too!
Report Check-InGreat little roadside rest area. Nice single pit toilet. Shaded picnic table. Interpretative trail. No one even stopped by. I would recommend.
