Needed to park before dark and drove down the beach off of hwy 200D. Followed it until it ended, along a stretch of fancy houses and parked at the dead end away from all the buildings. Beautiful black beach, deserted.

Stationnement en bout de route, aucun arbre, aucune intimité, ça ne vaut pas le coup de faire cette petite route etroite pour arriver sur ce site.
Report Check-InFelt safe enough to camp in my tent beside my motorcycle. First time camping in Mexico, hotels were booked up being a weekend and New Years.
A few families and fishermen were parked here in the evening but all left shortly after sunset. No one came by again until after sunrise where a couple fishermen returned. A friendly local helped me in the morning to lift my motorcycle out of the soft deep sand (rookie mistake!)
Report Check-InVery nice and quiet beach camping at Playa Cuyutlan where you find miles of unspoiled sandy beach. We camped in the dunes near the Tortugario where adult Olive Ridley and Black Turtles, some crocodiles and Iguanas are year round. We were lucky and there was a turtle release in the afternoon although we were there very late in the season.
Report Check-InEnd of the road out of Cututlan. The place felt safe specially since there is a lot of vacation homes with people in them and a research facility nearby. We drove into the sand to be even more out of the way. Watch out for mosquitoes, they are gnarly near the grasses.
