Very nice spot to wild camp. Wind shelter due to big rock. Stunning view of the ocean & lighthouse.
Bring firewood and water. You cannot be seen from the street/village.

We drove a little bit further. Stayed here for 2 nights. Beautiful place, nice view on the sea, the islands and the little village which is on walking distance if you want to try some good seafood, make a boattrip or want to buy some groceries. Don't forget to take cash! Many places do not take credit card.
Report Check-InEndroit très tranquille pour passer la nuit juste sous le phare.
Report Check-Inspent 1 amazing night here, next day a local ranger arrived and told us that we can't spend the night. It seems like someone called him (probably the Campsite next to the spot, the only one who saw us) bc he just came to tell us and then leave.
No fine and no bad vibes.
Super nice spot!! Great view, and many rocks to block the wind. Sadly when we were there, there was a sketchy guy that walked around our van a couple of times and was back again around 9:30pm, we left to go park somewhere else. Besides that it did feel safe, since it’s hidden from the road. Probably just that one time! No facilities, no WiFi, claro was on edge.
Report Check-InSpot with view on the beach but it can be really windy. Sunset was nice. It is a good option to stay before going on the penguin tour :)
We had 3G with Entel.
Tarmac road all the way here now - and beyond though we didnt go past ioverlander spot misty cliffs.
Report Check-InVery nice place with sunset view. No 3G available. The road is ok but quite sandy to get there.
Report Check-InBeautiful place to camp. Quiet. Just us alone. Amazing sunset. Not too much wind. Recommended.
Report Check-InPerfect place to camp. The route from the Ruta 5 towards here is for the first 20 k paved now! The last 20 k is still dirtroad, but not that bumpy (anymore).
Report Check-InSo awesome! The detoured road from Ruta 5 was an awful one hour bumpy dirt road but we made it fine in our 2wd campervan and it was worth it! We drove up the dirt roads behind the hill on the point and found infinite campsites (Cell service with Claro only worked if you stood by the fenced hill area) We walked down to the beach and had a dozen friendly dogs follow us back. Haha. We woke up and did the penguin tour. At the marina go to the white building and pay 10,000 for the boat ride where we saw penguins, sea lions, whales and dolphins!! Expensive but So worth it! We also paid Conaf 6,000 to explore an island, but we all wished we had stayed on the boat and waited instead. No penguins. Just a billion seagulls.
Report Check-InWe stayed there 3 nights and it was awesome. There are also tons of nice places to wild camp between Choros Bajos and Punta de Choros - the choice is yours ;)
If you like fishing, ask for Rodrigo and Raul at the Pier of Punta Choros. You eat what you fish + you get to see the best of the wild !
