Propane refill station
refill us tanks here. Also for RV fixed propane gas tanks. Looks like an auto mechanic / gas tank distributor. Fenced gate
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
We tried to fill our permanently mounted gas tank here. In the end it didn't work and the result was that the valve on the tank no longer closed and the remaining gas in the tank escaped. Now we have a new problem.
Report Check-Insame as earlier descriptions. filled 2 US bottles for us. took only some minutes. very friendly. 60k per bottle
Report Check-Insame as former descriptiond. filled 2 small US bottles for us, 60k pesos each. very friendly. took only some minutes. If possible, better park outside and take off bottles for refill. I add contact info on photos.
Report Check-InGreat place to fill gas. We filled our 9kg canadian bottle for 50000COP.
Report Check-InWe filled our 20lb American style tanks. Cost COP 55,000 per tank. Blue fence/gate with blue propane tanks in their yard.
Report Check-InFilled an 11lb tank with US fittings for 40,000 pesos. Easy to miss, it’s right at the beginning of the exit ramp next to a restaurant. Look for lots of large propane bottles in the entrance.
Report Check-InSuccess! Filled our USA 20lb tank no problem, no adaptors needed. Nice guy. 60k.
Report Check-InWe filled up our portable gas tanks (Swiss model with adapter), 5kg for 45000 COP. Located at the exit as describted, took half an hour for two bottles. Friendly guy.
Report Check-InStill here. It isn’t that hard to find. This place is right off the highway exit (heading north). Just make sure to go slow when you exit the highway. Parking inside the shop can be tight. If you have a portable tank, might be best to parallel park right outside and just bring the tank in.
30k for our 11lb tank.
Report Check-InDifficult to get to but they got the job done. Filled a 5lb tank for $15000.
Report Check-InHe had to run down the road to get an adapter for our large ACME fitting then it didn’t really work so he had to modify it by inserting another peice(see photo). Got it full but then he couldn’t stop it from leaking for quite a while so it didn’t really fill all the way. He charged us 10K cop. Took 2 hours but at least we have propane until we get a proper fill in the big cities hopefully. Good luck!
Report Check-InUn poco caro. Pero por suerte nos recargo la garrafa argentina de diez a 55000 co
Report Check-InI drove from Cartagena to here to fill my RV fixed tank. Jair is the guy who has the connection to do the job using gravity. Worked fine for me and they charged me 55000 PC for a 30 l gas tank. Took an hour the process.
Report Check-InPaid 45.000 for one 22l gas bottle. Took him about 15 minutes. Price negotiable!
Report Check-InWell no much propane options around, so this is the place to go for the ones that plan to stay longer on the carribean coast. They had a hard time to make their homemade connector work on my US fixed tank. They gravity filled up with 3x 44lb bottles, for 70.000 COP per bottle. The hole process took... get ready... 4h.
Report Check-InFilled our bottle here without a problem. had our own adaptors for German bottle filled with our high pressure hose and an American adaptor. COP 45.000 for 7kg/14lbs. Not exactly cheap but ok.
Report Check-InTook 20-30 minutes to fill up the fixed tank of our US RV, using cylinders and filling through the output because their adapter won't fit the regular US style input. 70k, friendly people.
Report Check-Init has a sign saying julio gas outside. they were nice but still kind of scary how they fill the tanks
Report Check-InGood experience buying a 20 libra tank for in our kitchen. It was the last one. But they are kind enough to help you find another one if they don’t have the small ones. They also fill up portable tanks.
Report Check-InVery good experience getting our fixed tank filled. They transferred from a portable tank to our fixed tank. Charged 70,000. We were happy to pay anything knowing how hard it is to get propane into a fixed tank.
Report Check-InNot really a gas place but they do sell gas.
He filled out little Mexican cylinder without issue, and managed to get some gas into our integrated tank by disconnecting one of the hoses and going direct. Watch out as he could only get in a third of a tank, as he was filling it from a regular tank.
Tried to charge us 70kP but easily enough settled at 50kP (still pretty ridiculous). Whole thing took an hour and a half!
Report Check-InWe stopped here hoping to get our fixed tank filled. It IS a hole in the wall. It's right as you take the exit ramp; it has a wooden fence and a gate. Actually has a tiny sign on a tree that says Gasan not Vidagas. Super friendly workers. They were able to fill our fixed tank from portable cylinders. The whole thing took less than an hour.
