Found this place on our way to Springville. We didn't camp there but the view is breathtaking. Wild camping spot with a little fire place in a national forest.

narrow, gravel road up the mountain with lots of ATVs and fast cars. campsite is lovely, with great views and a fire pit. some cattle mooing nearby. another campsite just across the road.
Report Check-InGreat spot with amazing views, lots of open range cows, so watch out for dung and be aware that they might wander into your campsite.
Report Check-In19 miles off hwy, first 12 miles (paved) is no camping zone and ~3 miles after that the pavement ends. Rest of the way is pretty compact dirt/gravel with a good few potholes to watch out for and washboards most the way. Made it in a 2WD Nissan Sentra with ~5 or 6" clearance. Hardest part is the rutted way to get into the actual site. Gorgeous views, no reception, no bathrooms, lots of cows. Make sure you check weather before you go into Uinta. Also, about 10 miles in the water begins to turn a hazy blue because of a sulfur spring up the road a ways. It's worth stopping and checking out, really beautiful phenomenon.
Report Check-InWe didn’t stay here as there were 2 campers with quads. It did have an amazing view and a nice open flat space. We drove down the road 2 or 3 switch backs and stayed in a space along a fence before the creek. It worked for a night’s sleep.
Report Check-InReally pretty area, especially w the leaves changing. Mix of narrow paved roads and then about 5 miles of dirt roads- 4x4 not needed.
The spot w these coordinates was taken, drove up FR136 (just around the next turn) and found a few more spots. Some traffic but a pretty private and quiet area.
