what a gem, tucked away from the world.
but be carefull.
Because lots of rain the night before we want to leave.
we didn't get away anymore.
they had to pull us out of the mud.
we didn't have a 4×4.
but also with a 4×4 it can be difficult.

@rodantinaviajera

It's all been said already. This park is a gem. Beautiful trees, historical buildings, trails, facilities and wonderful staff.

A beautiful and very quiet camping site in the park.
A few walks that are flat and not very long allow you to see some wild life.
Hot showers, electricity, potable water and BBQ pits etc.
I stopped for a night but ended up staying for 3

Very nice Parque with lots of animals. Not as touristic as Ibera. Also nice to visit in dry season. We took road 6 (gravel, good condition) and then road 87 (mostly sand, good condition). Camping is free, toilets, hot shower, electricity. Some nice hiking trails.

Another nice free national Park, in the area!
In dry condition the road is ok for all kind of vehicul. Great camping, clean, warm shower (Solar), tables, parillas, shade...
Very quiet, we were 3 staying for the night, some locals during the weekend. All free .
No wifi for the guest anymore, only for rangers.

Like to add to the other positive comments:
Beautiful campground (Parillas and everything else you need included) and stunning park, lovely and well maintained. Senderos absolutely beautiful, flora and fauna similar to esteros del ibera plus a lot of palm trees (if there's sun you'll see a lot of animals).
Absolutely a most do in this area.

Lovely place. We had to park in the parking area but that's lovely anyway. Great hot showers, and clean bathrooms. 2 short trails but parts were closed due to them still being wet. There is a very curious armadillo, and some foxes that come to the grounds though as well, and lots of birds. Roads in and out both North and south are loose sand and gravel in places. Easy to do in a 2wd in the dry though. Nice place to chill for a day or two. Free.

Very nice campground, well maintained, hottest shower ever.

Arrived in the middle of another Thunderstorm!!! Road was flooded and the signs said "Park closed due to bad weather " but we did it anyway in our camel trophy discovery. ...and it was the right decision, just getting there from the south entrance was a journey worth while, caiman, deer, hundreds of capybaras. We luckily spent the night and the following days in the protection of the vehicle garage..where we were able to use the roof tent. Luckily it stopped raining after 2 days..but the place is gonna be flooded for at least a week. Lots of animals around the park, amazingly clean and helpfull. ...well worth a visit!!
The signs saying that the park is closed are just to discourage locals with their normal cars from getting stranded. If you make it to the bridge and can still cross it (see it) your fine...obviously, only if your vehicle can handle water and mud half a meter deep ! :-)

It is one of our favorite campsites in Argentina. We went with a 4x4 remis for 600 pesos - she drove very well on the slippery way. We stayed a week in the park. The facilities are great. Just in front of the camp there are two small lakes, one live capybaras around another live horses. In the camp wood live fox, monkey, deer, amardillo, and a lot of birds. Don't miss the path to Laguna Lusía, early mornings we saw several kinds of animals, even a kind of crocodile at breakfast. Mosquito repellent is a must.

the southern road from the village Mburucuya is 25 km long and has some deep soft sand lanes, it's not good drivable without 4x4 and high clearance. the campground, toilets and hot showers are very clean - best we have seen. two foot pathes are well-signposted, but we don't see much animals, a third path shows the buildings of the old estancia. foxes and armadillos came over the campground

Report Check-In

we tried to go there, but the last 50 km into the park from the north is a soft sandy road, also the 35 km from the south. Even with our 4x4 we didn't drive into the park because the weather forecast promised rain and then its not alloud to drive into the park with trucks.

Report Check-In

Great national park, many birds, foxes and other wildlife. Because of some parts are still flooded, it was not possible to walk the entire tracks. Great campingspot with hot showers for free. Electricity at the bathrooms, but not possible to connect with your car (is too far away). WiFi is not great but it works best at the most left yellow house.

Report Check-In

We really wanted to go here but even with our 4x4 the road was too flooded after the welcome sign. We did have lunch here though and saw some alligators sunning themselves on the bank!

Report Check-In

They have a designated camp area for tents, but for motor homes it's the car park. All forgiven as it is free and a lovely park, very peaceful, nice tracks, plenty of animals that are curious instead of running off, lots of birds. They offered us to use the toilet but we didn't use them, there's WIFI.

Report Check-In

Good free campsite and loads of animals.
