it's not free. Camping site costs 240 UYU per tent (once) plus 90 UYU per day per person. Hot showers (by the pool) and power outlet included, I didn't see any wifi available. Different rates for children and motorhomes (see picture). Public transportation only during summer.

It's a really beautiful place, worth visiting.

Nice location, not really suitable for big rigs, at least not where the bbq‘s are. Rest is as described. Pool is still closed, presumably opens in Dec. A bit a hustle is, that you always have to get the keys at reception (24/7) for the bathroom. This one is clean and the showers are hot.

Paid camping up near the Swimming Pool.
UR$150 entrance plus UR$70 pp per night.

5 dogs roaming about but they were friendly. The swimming pool was closed but showers were open with hot water.

Busy at weekends with Boom Boom music but quiet in the week.

Friendly staff in the office.

Free WiFi accessible around the nearest half to the office as well as the Cafe/Store next to the swimming pool.

I lived here for a week and a half in my tent.

Firm sandy ground shaded by trees. Electric sockets under barbecue stands. Water faucets scattered around.

Free camping down near the lake.

The first time we were here, it was low season. Today, it was a weekend day: lots of noise almost all night. Bathrooms clean, showers hot, WiFi.

Paid nothing.

Lindo parque!
Beautiful park! We stayed one night! On one side has the campground with clean bathrooms and hot water. We chose to stay on the other side of the park, which we did not have to pay! The view is beautiful, very peaceful and safe.

Verry nice camping. Used the facilities at the swimming pool, verry nice and clean. Much people and youths in weekends. Water, Energy, Tables and BBQ. Really enjoyed it.

Beautiful FREE camping site in a small pine forest next to the lake. Only registration needed at the reception and you’re free to stay wherever you want! A lot of shade. Every camping spot has its own BBQ and table (see picture). Water available at multiple watertabs in between the camping spots.
Bathrooms available at the reception/restaurant (those on the camping site were closed since its out of season). In the weekend locals come here to relax and fish with a cup of mate around the beautiful lake.
Tip: drive around the lake to find the best spot to relax!

We arrived in pouring rain which makes any place less attractive. Welcoming people. Restaurant/shop stayed open for us. Bathrooms and showers a short hike (to the nearby swimming pool). Facilities spotless (albeit a bit older). Electricity from one of the BBQs. All-night guard on premises.

Next morning: very cold - we took a taxi into Tacuarembó and had a great lunch in La Rueda, in front of the BBQ fire.

Unbeatable price: free.
