Something not right?

Description

This is a restaurant right across the bridge next to the river. We asked if we could camp for the night and they allowed us. We had scoped out the hotels in town and the archaeological site but there was no parking anywhere. Free. Tent campers, there isn't any grass to camp on here but there is a dirt lot. Parking area is secure (behind a big gate). The restaurant closes early around 6pm.

New name&owner. La Portada Recreo Turístico. We sleep safe in our vehicle tent car. $30sol. Big parking lot, now is clean. Big truck and cars friendly. Camping we don’t know. No wifi. Restaurant. No showers and toilets not complety clean. Unique place like this in this town.

Report Check-In

Report Check-In

We camped here in the front after having a beef dinner and asking whether we could spend the night. Didn't inquire about side entrance with gate. Very quiet at night and minimal traffic on bridge. The restaurant closed before 6 on a Saturday.

Report Check-In

Parked in the lot in front (didn't ask if we could camp behind gate) Good trout lunch. Closed for dinner at 5. Minimal traffic at night.

Report Check-In

We ate at this large restaurant and asked if we could sleep there and they said no problem. We didn't end up staying, but there is a driveway next to the river inside the gate, or a large, fairly level parking lot outside the gate.
