Coastal view, tent and full hook up sites. Great spot! Nice walk down to the beach. No dogs on the beach, but path OK. $40 per night.
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
The loud waves are covered by the even louder freeway. It's California, what're you gonna do about it?! Totally lovely spot. Stopped late on a mid december evening after crossing through LA in rush hour. They instructed me to book online - no biggie. There are neighborhoods around here with a lot of vans parked. Idk if they get messed with or not but it seems to me that vans would be able to park free nearby, too.
Report Check-InFull hook ups, good cell service very pretty beach but was a little bit of a walk to get there! The non-hook up sites have the better view of the sunset!
Report Check-Instayed here for a few nights. nice walk to beach from the campsites. okay cell service. for some reason the dump station is free.
camping pass also gets you into state beach day use areas until 10 pm the day of check out.
Report Check-InStayed here for about a week and had a great experience. Bathrooms and showers are very clean and maintained. Easy access to the beach as well and just a short bike ride down to the pier. Would definitely stay again
Report Check-InIt is now $45 / night and you must reserve online which always adds another $8. So really it is $53 / night. Lots of road noise that never stops but sort of turns i to white background noise. They do have friendly staff.
Report Check-InReally amazing place to stay! The walk to the beach is beautiful and the bathrooms were kept super clean. The showers were hot with adjustable temp. Individual toilets and showers is especially nice during Covid.
We rode bikes to downtown and it was lovely. Best state beach campground we stayed at this trip ^.^ infinite ocean views and the sound of waves at night definite plus.
Report Check-InSome sites have amazing costal views. I enjoyed the nearby amenities.
Report Check-InDump station here even though not listed currently. Potable water as well. $15 for day entrance or free with CA parks pass ($195/yr)
Report Check-InNice campground. Friendly rangers only that 2/3 bathouses had broken token machienes for the showers. The final shower was rather hot and you couln't adjust the temperature. That said I still enjoyed my stay. The view is nice.
