Description
Nice, clean, simple hotel accommodations with the options for dorm rooms. Camping not allowed. $30usd per night for private room with private bathroom. Water is room temperature and is salty at times. Price comes with AC (air). No TV in room. WiFi was spotty in room but good in the patio/restaurant area. Food was great in restaurant and plenty of bottled water and beer. This is a surf destination and the hotel is right on the beach. The sand is clean and the water is clear. Strong and large waves most of the time so make sure you can swim well. I think this is the best value for the area. Especially for an uncrowded beach.

Great beachfront hotel in Popoyo. Clean rooms, AC, safe parking onsite. Chill lounge area, little bar/restaurant. Local fruit/veggie truck comes daily if you want to fix your own food. Awesome, vacant beach with multiple surf breaks and NO people around when we were there. This is a place you don't want to tell people about so it stays low key and non-touristy.
The last 20 miles in from Granada is dirt road but not bad. Crossed a few streams but mostly smooth dirt.
