A couple of good spots just off UT-12. One is accessible by most vehicles, while the second requires driving down a small hill but has more shade. Easy to access, but some road noise.

Camped just a bit east of the GPS marker here, closer to the creek in the shade of some Ponderosa Pines. To access this spot, turn right before reaching the spot marked and drive down the hill. Nice flat area with a good view of sandstone walls above the creek. While there isn't much traffic you will hear cars going by thanks to the big wall nearby. Good easy spot for an overnight.
Report Check-InGravel road turnoff is easy to find if you have the site coordinates. Go past the first open area and all the way to the creek. Several fire rings here. Nice and flat. We didn’t need any leveling blocks! No cell signal either Verizon or tMobile. We had the place to ourselves.
Report Check-InIndeed a beautiful spot under a high cliff. Some trees for shade and a little clear steam below. Small dirt road with gravel - no 4x4 or high clearance needed. Away from the road. We had a very quiet night with millions of stars.
Report Check-InVery nice place in a Canyon close to the road 12. Dirty road, high clearance. Don't go if it's raining !
