Great spot to spend a night or 2! The family was very warm and welcoming! The brother of the owner Caesar, even gave us a bag full of oranges! You camp close to the river Wi-Fi sort of reaches by the BBQ area!

I must correct my previous post. They do have water in the showers. The trick is, to open the faucet at the back of the house where the showers are located.

Nobody her when we arrived so we just went down and parked ourselves. Later on two kids showed up and we asked if we could stay. They gave us the WI-FI password and we paid 5 Dollars per person. No water in the showers. Restaurant seems closed. Nice place but zero service except the Wi-Fi.

Beautiful place. Quiet on a Wednesday. Some radio noise from the other restaurant, not very loud.
Wanted to pay the owner the 5$ pp and within a minute it was 10$. We started a discussion in Dutch and then he said okay. 10
for one night. Toilets without seats

Arrived on a Saturday late afternoon and we were the only travelers. Covered areas to get out of the rain. River running high. It might be a good swim another time. Level parking, fairly slow Wi-Fi, quiet at night. Clean toilets. A place to wash dishes. Felt safe. Good stopping point between Cuenca and Loja. Dog friendly. Dixie and I paid $5 and I spent $3 for an ok breakfast; rice, beans cheese and an egg w coffee. Friendly host.

I’d stay again.

$5 p/p, really welcoming owners. If you’ve been to Rio Claro in Colombia, it has a similar set up. You can also go rafting. It was rainy season when we here so everything was a little muddy and merky but nevertheless we enjoyed our stay! Arrived on a Saturday night. Really quiet evening.

Great for kids - sandy beach and water to play in (but cold!) Van parking is right on the road but it was fairly quiet at night. It was totally deserted on a Monday, but they said it's usually packed full on weekends. Beware the 6am wake up from the restaurant blasting the radio. No internet working when were there. Note there are 2 restaurants here, we stayed at the one with parking on the main road because there was nobody at the other one, but the other one had parking set back from the road. We were charged $0 but maybe the other place is where you're charged $10.

Camped in parking lot. Very friendly owners. It was raining a lot so river was very high and swift. Paid 10$ for two of us. No one else was here on a Wednesday. Nice facility clean bathrooms with showers. Was able to plug in electric. Owner brought us bananas and plantain pudding or something like that , it was very good. Dog no problem in parking area and on beach. Probably would be great with better weather!

We paid 10 dollars for 2 persons. Camping is a bit run down, but not a bad place to stay for a night (not a lot options in the area). we were there in the week and we were the only ones. Now they have pretty good wifi too.

Report Check-In

Now $10 and a promise that it would not be tranqillo since it was Friday night, so we didn't stay and camped elsewhere.

Tried to charge me 10 USD for one night! Paid 5 in the end and felt annoyed by that - basic campground by the river. It's quite pretty and the family who own the place are friendly enough. Good for tent campers, trucks and whatever else. For me best spot to pitch assuming place is empty would be on the beach where the two rivers meet. Nice breeze and lovely views. Owner was telling me how on holidays it's full of people and there are big parties here, so if that's not your thing make sure you don't turn up on New Year's Eve, possibly weekends, etc.

Campground with on-site restaurant, toilets, cold shower. No further services. Nice place, right by the river for a good swim. Might be quite busy on weekends. Driveway is pretty steep, but doable. We were charged 5 USD in total - we paid with milk as they couldn't get change :)
