Last year we stayed here too, still the same price Gs 75.000,00 for 2 in a motorhome. He speaks spanish and english, his mother spanish and german. Very nice people.
For big rigs you have to use the side entrance.

Best spot for this town. Nice green garden where you can park and plug into electricity. Wifi is good. Toilets and showers are clean. 75 per night for 2 and a van. The 75 includes a washing machine. We did 4 loads and was no problem at all.

Very nice place, in the Center of encarnacion. Juan is really nice Guy, very helpful. 75000 per night for 2 Adults and 1 Motorhome. Super nice shower and Toilette. For high cars there is a side entrance. We stayed 3 nights. Shopping and Restaurants all around. Beautiful to walk on the costanera

There is a smal building with two toilets and one shower. Electricity at each site. Perfect to visit Encarnacion. Gs 75.000/night

Nice place to stay in Encarnacion, very close to the Sambadromo, where we went for carneval.
They are renting rooms by Airbnb and offering camping (the hotel does not exist anymore). Juan, the owner, is a very nice guy. Contact him by WhatsApp if the gate is closed

Hotel Maitei is closed now. we could still stay in the parkinglot for a few days. But that is only now until end of sept 2019. after that the place is sold.

The current owner has informed us by mail that the place has been sold and that the new owner might have a different policy towards overlanders.

Really nice bathrooms, perfect WiFi, great supermarkt superseis in ten minutes walk. Good place to stay after or before crossing border Argentinië-Paraguay.

Really nice place as said before. I would hazard a guess that it doesn't get much better. WiFi, plug in, fab toilets and showers. perfect location too.

A small courtyard behind the hotel away from the hustle and bustle of the town. As mentioned below, really good bathroom facilities - clean and hot showers with no bugs! Price is still 25,000 pp and 25,000 for a vehicle. Staff are lovely. Wifi works well near the proximity of the reception. Small lobby has incredible aircon where you can work or relax.

As described: this place offers everything what overlander may need.
Flat grassy place to park, shelter for cooking and asado, realky clean bathroom with hot showers, WiFi!

Good supermarket and laundry in a walking distance.

25 000 p/p + 25 000 per car.

The area for camping is one of the best we encountered in South America. Great covered sitting area. Wifi is fast. Still 25000 pp and 25000 for the rig.

Although thereis almost no shade, the place is perfect for a few days. The toilettes and showers are 3*hotel standard. The price is still the same (75kG/night for 2 people in a motorhome). Restaurants, a shopping center and a taxi point are just a few minutes walk away.

Maitei Hotel is a very good option to stay overnight near the center of Encarnacion. A nice little meadow in the walled yard of the hotel offers electricity, water and a brandnew cabin with great showers and toiletts. It´s the perfect place to visit the famous Carneval of Encarnacion, the distance to the entry of the Sambadrom or to the costanera is about 300 meters. All employees of the hotel were very friendly. Price is 25.000 p.P. and 25.000 the vehicle. We paid in total 75.000 Gs for two persons and the motorhome. The entry for big RV´s is around the corner.

Das Hotel Maitei in Encarnacion ist eine sehr gute Möglichkeit, im Ort mit dem Wohnmobil sicher zu stehen. Eine kleine Wiese im Hof hinter Mauern des Hotels bietet für Mobile Strom und Wasser, sowie extra für die Traveller ein neues Gebäude mit superschönen Duschen und Toiletten. Perfekt für den berühmten Karneval liegt der Eingang des Sambadroms nur rund 300 Meter vom Hotel entfernt. Die schöne Costanera Encarnacions ist unmittelbar hinter dem Sambadrom. Die Angestellten des Hotels waren alle sehr freundlich. Preis 25.000 Gs p.P. plus 25.000 für das Fahrzeug. Wir bezahlten gesamt 75.000 Gs für zwei Personen plus Wohnmobil. Für große Mobile gibt es eine separate Zufahrt um die Ecke.
