Description

Free dump station with potable water located in a county park.

Lift the metal lid. The yellow non-potable spigot is connected to the dump well and rinses it. There is no water to rinse your tank hoses. To the left of the dump is a blue spigot, (assuming potable) with very strong pressure.

city park, large level lot north of the visitors center. beautiful park with 2 dog parks n a skate park right next to the rv parking. I came in late afternoon/ early evening sat n no body at either. later in the evening a few people showed up, nothing disturbing. watching them from my parked location was entertaining. there is a dump station n what appears to be a potable water faucet. will check that out b4 leaving. there's a bathroom next to the visitors center I haven't been in yet. will update that later. 3 bars Verizon. I can hear a train in the distance, n road traffic all but disappeared during the night. a class A pulled in after me, as did a car. covered picnic tables with trash cans at each. I stayed 2 nights to rest up. overall good experience. edited to add; checked the bathroom facility, nasty! there's only 1 door for 2 stalls, there is a shower but doesn't work, even if it did, I wouldn't use it, n the hand dryers haven't been wiped down for a while.

Report Check-In

Boondocking, 24 hour bathrooms, hot showers, dump station, picnic tables at this community park. paved asphalt circle near bathrooms had 3 campers and one car camper when I arrived to use the dump station. I did not stay, but talked to those who did and described it as a good experience.  No working doors on toilets, no electricity either, but clean and serviceable with hot water. Dump station is as described by others.

Functional dump station. Lift the metal lid. The yellow non-potable spigot is connected to the dump well and rinses it. There is no water to rinse your tank hoses. To the left of the dump is a blue spigot, assumingly potable with very strong pressure.

Report Check-In

Google maps led me to all sorts of wrong turns. Know where you are going!
Cable to dump lid is missing, so just lift the metal lid.
The water spigot is painted blue. I assume it’s potable.
A few places around to park. On a Wed at 7:15 PM, I was the only RV/Van.
We’ll see how the night goes.

Report Check-In

Dump station has been disconnected. Not sure about the last person‘s post because it looks like it’s been disconnected for quite a while. There is a faded sign but no place to dump. I chose not to fill my freshwater tank with the water since it wasn’t posted as potable.

Report Check-In
