Really authentic finca and coffee tour and botanical experience. We recommend it 100%!

We did the coffeetour for 50‘000 per person incl. lunch. We were absolutly not impressed. For us this tour is overrated. We walked one hour throug his land, he told us names from plants and flowers (but only names, no explanations) and he barly answered any questions. He also did several phonecalls during the tour and seemed distracted. After almost one hour we came back to the finca and he showed us (all in all around 10minutes) how the coffeprocess happens. then we had to wait for around 45 Minutes more, to go out for lunch. We didn‘t get any coffee to try, no degustation and we learned almost nothing. BUT, the lunch, which we had on an other finca was the best we had so far!

This is one of those places you don't want to leave. A beautiful farm , a most interesting walk, endless cups of excellent coffee and , above all, hosts with a big heart. I really felt at home during those four days.

Really great tour as Javier knows a lot about coffee production in the area and nature and biodiversity as well. You will learn a lot and see cows, hummingbirds and a lot of birds. Javier is passionated and passionating. The coffee is excellent coffee of origin. Plud he makes special coffee (honey and natural) that you should really try!!! The meal at the end is taken at a goat farm where they makes delicious food and cheese
A must do in the area !!! Please go for it!!!

Really good organic coffee tour. The cost of the tour is now 30000 COP per person, 50000 COP including lunch. He also sells his coffee for 9000 COP for 250g and 15000 COP for 500g. Javier is in the coffee business for 20 years already and knows a lot about organic farming. The tour is in spanish only and starts at 11 am every day. Highly recommended!

Javier runs a small organic coffee and plantain finca just outside Filandia. He is a very passionate guy who could talk the ears off an elephant and will take you on a 3-4 hour your of his property for 20,000. Best have a decent grasp of Spanish to get the most out of it. Arrive around 11. He sells coffee as well, 4000 for 250g.
