Lovely little park area. water isn't turned on yet, but power is available. Three night free stay. Safe area, great view.

nice little park. free of charge if you don't stay longer than three days. cleanest porta potty I've ever seen. the rec center was open during daytime hours. would definitely stay here again.

Nice place, as described. It is free and has amazing river views. Right now there is a weird smell in the air. Not sure if this was just from the recent rain and I hope it goes away tomorrow.

Great spot as described. Hydro/Power is on which is awesome on these overcast spring days. I did not need water or use pit toilet. I did stop east outside of town at Sunrise meats. Lots of fresh and precooked meat for BBQ. I especially loved their regular pepperetts.

Very happy to find this spot! Thanks ioverlander! This is only our second boondocking experience and we very grateful that this municipality offers this! Thank you! Wish more places did.
It has hydro hook up and water available and is a pretty area.

Small city park. First 3 days are free. 20 amp and 15 amp. Pit toilets on site. They were full and needed attention.
Only 1 water conection for the park, which was dominated by one of the permanent campers.
Not many sites and some were taken by more permanent campers.
Ground was very soggy, they had had a lot of rain.
I would have a plan B , if you want electrical.

Great the town has this area available.

Gratuit. Bon endroit. Calme avec eau et électricité. Par contre le train proche fait beaucoup de bruit.

Great little park. Garbages were empty, port a potty was clean. Well maintained.

Still the same great place in 2021. People of Barwick are very friendly and even the police comes to talk to you with a big smile.

Lovely spot with grass and trees and a picnic shelter, not to mention free electricity for 3 days! There is also potable water. Very quiet except for the occasional train. Perfect! There are 5 electric sites. Poor cell service but did manage to get one bar on Telus.

Amazing camp with a view to the river. We were the only ones here on a Thursday night. Very quiet, only a couple of trains at night, but they're 500m away. Worth a stop if you're coming this way, better than the Walmart east of here.

Awesome place, only one other trailer there. We tented, started to rain in the morning, but there is a good size shelter. We were able to pack up dry. Bathed in the river, saw an eagle and a deer. And it was free!

Really functional place, with plugs, wc, water and picnic table available on site. Just beside the river. Pretty quiet.

Le camping est toujours ouvert. Il y a de l’électricité 30 ampères, des tables à pic nique couvertes et de l’eau potable. C’est parfait !!! Plusieurs trains durant la nuit par contre.

Best avoided in the summer season if you are in an RV because the permanents have taken over the place and neighbours are actively warning people off.

small campground for free! at least for 3 days. view at the river. 5 sites for RVs, electricity included (30Amps, 15Amps at the pavilion)! don't know about tents but there is enough space for some. 1 water tap (not in off season), 1 pit toilet, pic nic tables, 1 fire pit. train few hundred meters away could annoy somebody but was ok for us. wonderful place!
