Nice grassy patch right next to the lake and mostly flat. We paid 100 Pesos p.p., showers were hot - just be patient.
The staff is friendly and helpful, they were able to contact a mechanic for us to help with a minor problem with our van, got parts and fixed it right on the spot, but for sure not as cheap as if you visit the mechanic in his workshop.

Report Check-InWe stayed here for three nights after crossing back into Mexico from Guatemala. It was a quiet and enjoyable stay - food at the restaurant was so-so, showers worked fine. We payed 100 Peso/person/night. On the way through town we followed google maps recommendations and unfortunately ripped a cable off (we are 3.85m high) - when coming in take a right at the little round-about and then left along the road most loosely to the lake - that's actually the main road for lake access and cables are high enough.
Report Check-InStayed here 2 nights and really enjoyed it. The cool air was perfect and it was quiet at night. The first night we were charged $320 for 2 people. The 2nd night I questioned the price and was allowed to pay $200 for 2 people. The bathrooms were clean. There must be a small hot water heater because my husband’s shower was hot but mine was cold. There are many sweet stray dogs here. Bring some kibbles for them. Would have taken the sweet tan-colored pup with us but we’re already a full house with 2 cats in our truck camper. There are a few small tiendas in town but looking back I wish we had stopped at a big grocery in Comitan as there’s nothing like that between here and Palenque on 307.

Report Check-InExcellent location with beautiful views, plenty of space by the lake. Fun for packrafting out on the water. Restaurant and clean bathrooms. Hot shower in the morning. We grabbed a tuktuk / moto taxi from here out to hike around. Excellent! There is a light post out on the grass that you could plug into when it’s on in the evenings. We asked the gentleman at the restaurant and he let us plug in to the electrical transformer closer to the building because we had just happened to park next to it when we arrived.

Beautiful place directly at the lake. 100 pesos per person, in addition to the 30 pesos per person to enter the Montebello Laguna Park (valid 2 days). Children do not pay. Kayak rental available at 100 pesos per person also. Wi-Fi, bathrooms, showers with hot and clean water. The lake is beautiful!

Wifi works fine close to the lake, and most of the time there are hot water in the showers.

this place looks like Canada, blue lake and pine tree forest. you really don't feel that you are in Mexico.

it's cold at night and can be windy
checked out this spot and also paraiso de tziscao further down on the lake.
pros on this spot here is it's a bit more quiet and the view is also nicer i think.
pros of the paraiso de tziscao:
the restaurant seems to be nicer and their wifi works a lot better. had to upload some workstuff and i could only do it there.

We had two nights with a 24 feet. Magnificent environment, very few world. Electricity and good WiFi at the restaurant where you eat very well. No dump but we could have full drinking water.
Report Check-InNice area on a grassy area right next to the lake. You can swim in the lake, the water is clear and refreshing. Internet is strong. You can also rent cabanas for 550Pesos. Camping was 140Pesos for 2 persons.
Report Check-InWARNING FOR DOG OWNERS! Don't stay here. There is poisoned dog food around. Not kidding. Our dog got killed. Very sad because this place is beautiful but somebody is messing around. We found also other dog body. This place is like horror movie. STAY AWAY!
Report Check-InWe parked our van on the grassy camping area in front of the lake for 2 nights. Peaceful and perfect sleeping weather. There are hot showers, toilets, a restaurant and wifi that reached our van. We paid 80 pesos/ person per night. We did not pay 34 pesos to enter the lake region because the toll booth was closed when we arrived, but we did pay 25 pesos each to enter the town on Tziscao. You should not have to pay both, but rather just one. That one entry fee gave us entry to the 5 lakes viewpoint, Lake Pojoj and Lake Montebello, as well as International Lake. Just hold on to the ticket and they will punch it at each stop.

Nous avons eu un premier prix à 80pesos par personne par nuit pour dormir dans notre camion Mercedes.
Nous voulions quelques jours donc j'ai réussi à négocier 50 pesos par personne par nuit pour plusieurs nuits (6).
Toilettes+douches chaudes (pas toujours de l'eau chaude).
La wifi passe moyennement sur le terrain de camping il vaut mieux s'installer à la réception. (la wifi coupe parfois pendant plusieurs heures)
Très bel endroit en bord de lac !!
