I am bike camping, and staying here was the perfect way to go to Quilotoa in two days. $5 for camping with access to the warm indoors and a shower. $5 in the morning for a great breakfast. The dinner looked good but I had my own. There are also full hotel rooms. Very friendly staff.
Report Check-InWe contacted this place on Feb13th via What’sApp from The Facebook page. The owner replied that they are open. It’s $6 a person and dogs are welcome as long as they don’t bite her two dogs. We decided to drive all the way to the beach so we didn’t stop.
Report Check-InWe stayed here with our bikes and tent for 5 dollars per person. Quiet place . Hot shower and restrooms . No wifi. You can eat there too, lunch is 10 dollars per person , diner is 9 dollars per person.
Report Check-Inwe planned to stay overnight only but finally spent a bit more time. the house is amazing and cosy. Felippe Is very welcoming and looking towards showing you how to make cheese. you can buy home made cheese, milk, yogurt and butter. nice with kids as there's plenty of animals around. we had good times hiking in the stunning landscapes. easy to say we warmly recommend.
Report Check-InWe were sent away by what must have been the neighbors who told us there were too many cars already (we didn't see any and there was no space for us left ). This sounded very strange — envious neighbors, maybe? We waited some time for the owners to get back but then gave up and left. Looked like a very nice place though!
Report Check-InThe correct road in is marked with a big green painted rock. There was no sign and our GPS took us to the wrong road. Nice place but visiting dogs are not welcome. They lit us camp with our mutt because it was almost dark and we said we would keep her in the car.
Report Check-InWe loved staying at this friendly Ecuadorean Posada! It is an idyllic working farm nestled in a beautiful valley. Getting to it was a slight challenge -- there are 2 routes from highway 30 but only the one closest to Latacunga (it is sign posted) will get you to the front entrance. The hot showers were heavenly and they included soap, shampoo and clean towels. They also had toilets and showers outside the main entrance that were accessible overnight. We opted to take dinner inside their charming dining room -- the food was fabulous! They provided a 3-course meal (soup, main, and dessert) plus a delicious, hot alcoholic beverage ("Cana Lasso"). It was so good that we decided to eat breakfast here too -- everything was delicious and made with care on the farm (eggs, bread, marmalade, yogurt, butter, cheese, and real coffee!). We paid $5 per adult to camp. Dinner was $10 per adult and breakfast was $5 per adult. They didn't charge us at all for our 6-year-old son to eat or camp.
Report Check-InGreat place for camping. The place is owned by Margarita and her sons. There is a small parking area in front of the hostal where is possible to camp (trailers and campervans). Price USD 5 per person and dinner at USD 9 per person.
