Something not right?

Description

Nice big campground on the lake. Quite during the week, some road noise. Good facilities, hot showers. On the weekend many locals come out and have their BBQ. Then it can get loud during the day, but still quite at 10pm.
Also, really good mountain bike/ hiking trails in the mountains that start across the street. Beautiful views over the lake from top of the mountain.

Latest Check-Ins

We went here because we wanted to go mountainbiking and needed a safe parking. As we were mislead by the last ratings we had a look at the camping next door first which was horrible and another one in the village which didn’t accept dogs. Then we came here and it was a big surprise. Had the place to ourselves on Friday, Saturday (beginning of Semana Santa) two more Camper showed up. It was quiet, we had hot showers and when I told the man that the bathroom was dirty after we arrived, he immediately cleaned it! Also our dog was allowed (they also have a bunch). As we were gone most of the day the road traffic didn’t bother us at all and even when we were there we hardly noticed the traffic (campsite is huge) at night it was quiet anyway. Maybe (?) a campsite to avoid in high season but other then that a bargain as we were only charged 100 Pesos pP.

Most horrible camping we went to since our trip through Argentina. Busy highway is the least. Its very very dirty (dirt all over the toilets) and not maintained at all. Paid 500 peso (2 people and a 4x4) for this crap. I recommend to go to the other side of the lake to camping club pescadores (only a few minutes away).

Report Check-In

Horrible place cause it's literally right next to the highway. Decided not to stay here with so many better alternatives in the vicinity.

Great find! Right next to the lake. Lots of space, hot showers! 50 $ pp in July 18.
