Beautiful place, but expensive. 600: 200 per person and 200 for the car. We didn’t stay.

It’s a beautiful place but we didn’t stay because they asked 600 : 200 per person and 200 for the car. To expensive.

Report Check-In

The owner wanted 600 for 2 of us but we got him down to 500. Quite expensive BUT we did have the whole place to ourselves for most of the time. Essentially a large grassy area right on a small waterfall, with a bbq and lots of shade from the beautiful trees. Toilets weren't great. In quite a weird place- owner has a recycling plant right behind it which you have to drive through to get to it. Also has 5 dogs kept in cages that don't stop barking. If you have a dog, make sure you don't let it anywhere near those dogs - they went crazy and one of them broke out of its cage and would have attacked my dog if I didn't pick her up in time!! All that being said though, it's a relaxing place to park your van and we stayed for 2 nights instead of just the 1 we planned.

The perfect place to stay in Mexico! Close bay the river and the cascades. Grassy side, quiet and beautiful set surrounded by sugarcane field. Friendly owner. Restaurant we can't really recommend but place to sit there and have a drink in front of a second pool with cascades is awesome. Clean bathroom and cold showers. We paid 450 pesos a night which is quiet enough but to stay in paradise it worth it. Last 500m from main road is bumpy and in one section a bit steep but ok also with normal car or bigger rigs.

as you can see in the photos it's a beautiful place - you can camp right next the waterfall, pool and river.
no wifi available. bathrooms were ok, cold showers.
the owner told us that the price for 1 night is 400 pesos, if we stay 2 nights or more it's 300 pesos. there is a small restaurant and panaderia on site, but due to the pandemic it's only open at the weekend or when there are a lot of guests.

We came on a rainy Friday in September during Covid. Very nice place, Eddie the owner is friendly & let us camp by the river. We negotiated the price due to circumstances & time of year to 300p per night. It’s very beautiful here.

Hello
I ask the price for my 26' RV and my family of five.
At the beginning the owner say 1200...!!!!
After he say 750, you have water and shower.
You can park your truck near the river with falls.
Nice but too expensive for our family.
With a 26' rv you can go here but some branches are low on the road.
You can go here with 3.50 meters high.
So we don't stay in this area.

Expensive but you can negotiate. Very good place, you will sleep next to beautiful waterfalls.
You can refill your water tank.
Roads and camping accessible for a 30 FT RV, no need for a 4x4.
Place very close to the Tamasopo waterfalls which are amazing ! Especially if you travel with kids.

Joli cadre mais très cher. Il nous demandait 600 pesos par nuit sans service, on a réussi à négocier 400 mais ça reste très cher pour ce que c’est. Très calme par contre. Ok pour gros VR.

Yes, it is expensive but you won't find a place like this elsewhere. We paid $400 for two and a dog but it was the only spot next to the falls just for ourselves, so we gladly paid the price for the privacy. Restrooms are clean, but we didn't use the shower.

Report Check-In

this place is a bit expensive. $100 pp plus $100 per car. there is another place about 50 meters past this one, just after the bridge over the waterfalls called Hacienda Gomez that is cheaper, bigger, and has spots right next to waterfalls
