Lost and Found | Hostel

I placed an earlier review and I need to update. Two issues you need to be aware of. The walk in is a chore. And parking is an issue. Don't come here with a motorcycle. The view is awesome. The number of things to do and see is great. The showers are hot, and its a unique spot.

Not for motorcycle riders, or older folks. The walk in is difficult. I had to hire somebody to help. Then, after parking where being told, near someone's house, that you pay extra for, staff came and told me at 2:00 in the afternoon after my first night, I had to move the bike to an unsecured place right on the highway. Gave no options. Either leave in the morning or move. I'm leaving. This is a cool place, but IMHO badly managed. Biker beware.

We didn’t end up staying, but it looked pretty cool, just not for us. Prices were $13.50 for dorm bed, and $45 for private room. Not great for bikers because there’s a 20 minute steep hiking trail from the road to get to the hostel. You need to make a reservation ahead:

Lots of backpackers around and a beautiful view. They sold snacks and drinks at the checkin desk, and there was a sign up sheet to get dinner for $5. WIFI was really slow.

This place is worth the stop! There is a hiking trail up to the hostel, but once you’re up there you’re above the trees. There are a handful of lengthy hikes in and around the property which are all beautiful. Great food from the kitchen. Hummingbird feeders. Hot showers. Very patchy internet.
