Something not right?

Description

Hostel with cabanas and camping. Beautiful spot just as you turn into the main street for the town. Look for the wall with turtles painted on it and "pizza" written. We camped for $5 per night per vehicle and an extra $2 for electricity for our small fridge in the vehicle. This place is right on the water with a stunning view and great break just out the front. Also has an excellent little bar with cheap beers. Flushing toilets with seats and paper, and showers (cold obviously, you don't need hot showers here!!!). They don't allow electricity connections down at Rancho Esperanza any more so if you need power this is your best spot in town. Even if you don't need power it's cheap and awesome!

Awesome place to stay (only for small rigs, room for 2 maybe 3). As mentioned in the comments, basic but clean shower and washroom, right on the beach with a beauitful palapa to spend your days under. Great beach to walk on, can go in the water but a bit of current. Great hosts, small store down the street but you should bring supplies if you want make your own meals (limited number of places to eat out but there are some, we ordered an excellent dinner from the host).

Endroit parfait, on reviendra!

Very nice place at 5$us per night. We were alone on the site for 4 nights. The showers were broken and we had to wash with a bucket though. Directly on the beach, waves to surf on the left, small tienda nearby. Fruit and bakery sellers and pass by in the morning. The owner cooks excellent fish for 100C.
We were even able to enjoy a space in the shade to hang the hammock and a high palapas to do yoga. Perfect place, we will be back!

Great spot in front of the sea for 5dollars a night. For this price, don't expect a modern and luxurious campsite but the welcome and the beach view are worth a stop. We stayed 2 nights in a quiet place, perfect to rest.

Beautiful spot with a fun surf break out front. Stayed for a week. Bucket flush toilets but bathrooms are clean. Only serving breakfast, but other options close by.

Precioso lugar en primera linea de playa. Familia super friendly. Buenas olas y pescadores a los que comprar pescado barato cada día. Si estás varias noches el precio es de 5$ (2 personas y 1 van).

Beautiful spot right on the beach. Good surf break out front. We paid $4/person/night plus $1/night for electricity.

Cool place right on the beach, fits the description. Cool staff.
We stayed 2 nights with our van for 3$ pp, we were able to find places in the shadow. The road to get there is stony but ok.
They sell some beers and food. The water supply (non-potable) is not very reliable, but one can have a shower if a little patient.
Locals hang out there too.
We took a plastic bag and picked up some of the trash on the beach; we suggest everyone does the same - just to give something back.

This place is a true oasis.
Beach front location with great layout to accommodate overlanders affordably at $3 per person. Shared bathroom was rustic but cleaned daily, but no matter because construction of new shared bathrooms is already under way.
They offer rustic but nicely furnished cabañas with private bathrooms, and rooms with shared bathrooms, all affordably priced.
Staff is accommodating but relaxed.
Restaurant on site offers quality food and good portions.
This is the first overlander spot on the beach, and is Big Rig friendly but may be challenging to level the rig if that's important to you.
The 7 kilometres of rocky road to get there are rough and dusty. 4x4 and clearance not needed though.

We came here for a night. It’s a beautiful spot where we put our van with rooftoptent. We were the only guests cause there is no tourism since May. The people here need it and are super friendly. showers and toilet clean and working. shadow place for hammocks directly on the ocean. hope few more people will come back in the future cause it’s just beautiful!

7$/2 person and car now. For 0,5 more, we prefered hostal Esperanza much more ...

As described. We want to add that unlike the other places around, this one is owed and run by locals, so the money stays in the community. :)

this place has great potential, but unorganised and foodis not readily avaiable, ordered good at 4pm didn't get it till gone 7pm. Water is unreliable and we had none for the first 3 days!

Beautiful spot for camping in a van, tent or a hammock+nice cabanas and rooms. to camp $5/car! Carlos and his family who own the place are lovely and genuinely helpful. good clean facilities even though water sometimes runs out. restaurant serves very good food all day. beach good for swim and surf but not for beginners right by this place but a bit further should be easier. highly recommended, we have stayed a couple of weeks already and don't wanna leave yet.

We stayed 2 nights. Paid $8 per day. 2 ppl, with electricity. Dog friendly. Right on the waterfront, great view, great breeze. Made the 101 degree days feel comfortable. Places under the bungalow to hang your hammoks. Dry grass, so not dusty!! They supplied toilet paper, but it runs out for long periods of time. The power does occasionally turn off and it's Hit or Miss if there will be water for you to take a shower. If you time it just right you should be able to get a shower at some point in the day. Not much for amenities. A few restaurants. Very long mostly empty beach all the way to the river. We walked via the beach. Took 1.5 hours one way. Walked back via the road...took longer. Wished we had brought money, some of the restaurants looked good!
