Description

Option to park around the pink building or to drive and park down on the rock road directly on the water on the lagoon side. We did and spent a quiet two days on the breezy waterway. Also can park on the sandy ocean beach side on the other side of property across the street. This place is marked with a sign on the right hand side driving down peninsula - see pic. The manager Hamma is a local who also teaches Garifuna drumming at the nearby drum school and is an excellent guide for the local flora and fauna. Call or email ahead as he's not always around 5016685355 also on booking.com and TripAdvisor for rooms we did not see.

Report Check-In

This place worked well for us for one night. The owner/manager is Raymond who lives in the old place on the right of the road near the obscure Stork Jabiru sign if you're heading south. He charged us B$10 and we used the toilets and cold showers in one of his unused guest houses. We camped on the beach side and had a beautiful night. We didn't join in to the drumming class that night but the background noise for that hour was nice.
