Description

Lovely spot right on the water / estuary. Good safe swimming, even at low tide. Sheltered and gets the last of the sun during the evening and with a stunning backdrop of the mountains. Very quiet. Dolphins out the front. Watch out for the mosquitos though.. No need for a 4WD as the sandy road is very firm. Take the road to the right as you drive into the village, carry on down past the houses. RMB is definitely worth the detour - is one of our favourite places !!

Beautiful spot! If you look closely you will definitely see dolphins, just be patient. We had two great days here. The cops came, just to ask if everything is alright. please uf you stay here take your trash with you. Also if you need to use the "little" forest for a poo or a lu - take your paper with you(!!!!) and buried your shit.

Nice wildcamp right by the sea. Officially camping 🏕️ is not allowed (acc. to a sign). Some people were around to watch after there boats, but nobody cared. Even the cops driving by didn't say anything. There's some wind protection if you park close to the trees. Very idyllic spot. Not far from town, for a walk or dinner. Unfortunately no dolphins spotted 🐬

Very nice place to stay, great views on the bay. We stayed here during a night with wind gusts of 70 km/h and didn't notice a thing because the trees to the north/north west offered the perfect shelter. The road is indeed quite firm, no problems with our 2wd camper, but maybe walk ahead to make sure after heavy rain.
