Chile
we actually drove past this place looking for the Marcacque place on the map because honestly it just looks like a huge open soccer field. we went to Maracque and left because it was your typical Chilean resort. way too noisy, camping 1 meter from everyone else. we saw there was a river behind this camp site as we drove by the second time and asked how the fishing was. to our surprise, he has beautiful secluded parking spots right on the river. see photos. the owner is the nicest man alive, came and fished with us, showed us techniques, the campsite is clean, fresh fruit on the trees, quiet, quiet, quiet and quiet. we have all the room we need. this is one of our absolute favorite places to be alone and enjoy nature and amazing views. absolutely stay here.

We stayed here one night for 15000 for 1 van, two persons. It’s a nice place, but at the other side under the bridge you can boondock for free. We just noticed too late. Lots of good spots to wild camp on the gravel road a bit further too.
Report Check-InNice large and quiet camping, with only 3 families camping (high season). After driving through busy Villarica, Lican Ray and Coñaripe this is Just what we need.
Large soccerfield in the middle, places with benches and shadow around it. Some stony places on the riverbank for campers.
5000 pp
Really beautiful and tranquil place. Very friendly owner (He’s Mapuche) and clean bathrooms. We didn’t see where to camp right on the river but the sites aren’t far from it at all. Highly recommended! 5k/person
Report Check-Inforgot to mention it was only 5,000 pesos. some sites have electricity and tables. on the river we have no amenities, but we don't need them
