Large, clean and quiet campground on the beach between Montezuma and Cabuya. Water with sinks, electricity, tables at each site, showers, toilet. 4000 col/person/night negotiable. Nice owner Yolanda. . The owner has 2 dogs but not sure how they behave with other dogs. You can take the local bus outside the gate to go to Montezuma (700 col/person) about 3 miles.

We were the only ones here. Stayed two nights. It was magical to have the beach to ourselves. It looked like the area is not very well kept, leaves and coconuts all over the ground. There was basically just two decent spots to park the van. However the view to the ocean is beautiful! Showers and toilets were clean, and the sink with running water made life easier.
Report Check-InWe stayed two nights here, there was only one other car and had this amazing spot in front of the sea ! Place has all you need. every spot has a table, a sink some chairs. Toilet and showers were clean !
Really enjoyed it here and the doggos are so cute !
We would really recommend this place !
Report Check-InThis was my favorite campsite in Costa Rica so far. It’s spacious so different groups can spread out, and the atmosphere was very quiet and laid back. Each site has its own sink with running water and surfaces like tables or counters that make it easy to prepare food or layout camp. Some sites have strings of lights too! I stayed at the furthest site near the little river, which had a beautiful arched dead tree that an iguana lived inside. It felt peaceful and remote here and the sunrise is stunning. I stayed two nights and could have stayed a week. No Wi-Fi and spotty service, but that helps you get away from the world. If you have the budget for a mid-priced fancy meal out, Habitat just up the road has the best fish taco since Baja California
Report Check-InBeautiful beachfront campsite, but beach is very rocky, so at low tide you have to walk 100m over the rocks to the water, at high tide surfers were about 20 minutes south, beautiful sunrise. Short drive to Montezuma waterfall, Montezuma beach, and Butterfly Brewery. Bathrooms were ok, potable water, not many people when we were there so pretty quiet, a few friendly dogs. 4000 colones per person per night.
Report Check-InVery nice campground. Lost of shade and seaview. Very nice sunrise 🌅. Owner Yolanda is friendly. Electricity and water on your site. Two showers and two toilets (with paper).
Really recommended.
Report Check-InNothing to add on. Super lovely place to be if you want to explore Montezuma and arround.
Report Check-InIt is a nice and safe little camping right in front of the beach, we were able to park our sprinter van with no issues, electricity on campsites. Yolanda and her family are lovely. Clean bathrooms and showers, internet only at the reception area, very quiet, it was nice to spend a few days enjoying nature after coming from Santa Teresa which one of those busy towns. We were lucky and got to see scarlet macaws every day.
Report Check-InStayed two nights after fleeing from Santa Teresa - best camping spot at the seaside ever - 3/4 shade - quiet (owner doesn‘t allow loud music) - peaceful - 4km from Cabo Blanco Riserva - clean showers and toilet - electric power - estuary pool from Rio Lajas at the back of the place provides for a sweetwater bath or 25m laps … - 2 P. Kayak complimentary > visit isla cemeteria by Kayak - simply awesome! Could easily stay here for 2 weeks (or life …) Col. 4000 p.P.
Report Check-InAfter driving from Mal Pais to Cabuya we decided it was time to stop. There was a choice of 3 campsites listed between Cabuya and Montezuma and we were going to look at all three, but after stopping here, we found it was adequate for our needs. 4k colones pp, toilets & cold showers not spotless, but clean. Sinks, concrete tables and some seats, with electric sockets and lights hanging over tables. Right by the sea, with plenty of shade. We were told wifi, but we have our own so don't know how good it is. Okay for one night, but wouldn't stay any longer.
Report Check-InGreat quiet place! Not a place for swimming but beautiful views.
Report Check-InReally nice lady that owns the place. Amazing view and site directly at the beach. 4000 colones per person. Great river to swim directly next to the camping!
Report Check-InReally good place, clean, the lady is super nice. Beachfront, excellent location. We had a great night, the campsite was all for us.
Report Check-Incampground in front of the ocean. We paid 4000 colones per person.
Report Check-InNice place. The beach is not the prettiest one but is nice. A lot of nature and animals around. Nice spot with a lot of calm. Big rig friendly. You can park in front of the beach.
Clean bathrooms + water and electricity
Report Check-InWe paid 3500 Colones per person per night. Yolanda did not seem very friendly to me. Bathrooms dirty and no toilet paper. Shower cold but not bad. Camping right on the ocean was great!
Report Check-InLarge, clean and quiet campground on the beach between Montezuma and Cabuya. Water with sinks, electricity, tables at each site, showers, toilet. 4000 col/person/night negotiable.
