Large, grassy, flat camp with shady small trees directly at clean beach. This was probabely a campground (ruined shower and toilets nearby), relatively little trash around. Freshwater river access. No houses or people in sight, but close to road. You can hide your car a bit in the trees.
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
Definitely fenced with barbed wire. Should be unlisted as a stopping place.
Report Check-InI went to ask as I was driving past and there were people present. It's private property but campers/overlanders welcome. $100 per vehicle or tent; includes toilets and showers. Ask for Tino; he says he's usually there daily, very friendly - they can also prepare meals for you on request. Looks like a nice spot!

Doubt if still is in excistence.
It’s an official campground (playa caracol) during holidays. Very nice place with both sea waves and a quiet small river so perfect for small kids too. Good shade and lot of space to park flat right in front the water. During semana santa 2018 prices were 30 p / car for entrance plus 100 / car for camping. Worth it !
Report Check-InWe stayed 2 nights. Nice place and beautifull ocean to swin. Rustic showers and bathroom. We paid 100p the first night and 60p the second. This is managed by a man called Fidel.
