Beautiful spot, you can park behind some trees. Didn't see dolphins but we saw some kind of beaver. Bit gross on some spots, lot of toilet paper (place just take your mess).

Great spot didn’t see dolphins, in view of road, parked behind trees to get out of way of westerly wind, worked well. visited in 4x4 with camping box

Perfect spot to spend the night. Behind the rock it’s not very visible from the road, though you can still hear some traffic. We saw the dolphins and even went down the cliff (carefully!!) to take a swim (VERY cold water). Three other cars/campers arrived and stayed for the night as well.

Beautiful space, we actually planned to continue way further, but it was such a nice place we stayed Sunset view, we saw dolphins in the afternoon, evening and morning. Lots and lots of them. Also a sea otter.

room for dozens of cars, which is good because many will stop. possible to hide from traffic here. excellent views over the ocean. we thought that with a name like dolphin point our chances would be low to actually see some but within minutes we saw several dolphins. worth a stop even if only for that.

dream place if no wind. we didnt see any dolphin but otters. Open your eyes they are difficult to observe !

You should definitely stay here, before your visit to Quelat Hanging glaciar. We saw Dolphins all the time and the sundown was beautiful. We were the only ones there and no one bothered us. For wind protection you can park behind the big rock.

We spent a night here. Really quiet and clean ! We so about 5 dolphins in the morning (8:30am). No wind during the night

Super spot for the night. Very quiet and we also saw a group of dolfins, a bit far away. Maybe because we cooked nothing...😂

Place next to the road but behind a huge rock. Quiet at night, still road works. Nice view over the fiord, saw many Dolphins and sealion.

Could not find any of the established campgrounds open with someone there so we pulled in here for the night. Several cars and cyclists came through but none stayed -- it was windy and rained overnight. Luckily we are in a campervan. Quiet overnight, nice view, but no dolphins.

Parking behind a big rock. Close to the road but no traffic at night. We stayed there before going to Queulat NP, the entry is just a few km from here. We saw dolphins and had a nice sunset!

Pretty spot a little of the road behind a big rock. Awesome view on the queulat fjord. Didn't get lucky spotting any dolphins but the sunset was beautiful. You can partially see and hear the traffic from the main road but there's not much going on. Take your trash with you! There is only one small spot with trees that is already full of rubbish. Not much space to put up a tent as there is only as very small grassy part.

Beautiful camping spot. No-one else here, no angry conaf officers, but sadly no dolphins for us either.
South of here the road is shitty for 30kms - at least an hour of potholes, ripio and steep bends- you won't find a better camp spot until you're through all that. We haven't been north yet- but I'd be surprised. Just stay here if you need a place!

Existe una entrada junto al costado de la carretera austral que corresponde a un tramo del antiguo camino y que permite armar ahí su carpa o estacionar camper o motorhome.
Con una hermosa vista y cerca de la entrada al Parque Queulat.

Very nice overnight spot before or after „colgante“. We spent teo nights here and they were 7 other campers there every night. We didn‘t see dolphins, but some seelions. The sunset and scenery is worth stopping anyway.

Very good place to stay. One of the best in this area. Quiet during night. A lot of overlander stayed here.

Amazing place - nice sunset, we saw two dolphins in the morning. During we had breakfast a really really unfriendly Conaf officer came. He gave us some information - no trash etc. and he said we have one our to go- they will check it again.

Wonderful view on the fiord. Perfect place for a night. During the daylight several cars stop at this view point. In the Night it is silent.

Great place we it's sunny! great view to the fjords and the montains after!
And we also saw dolphins at night and morning.
Just one thing : please take your toilet paper with you on a trash bag, chilian's does it, we do it even on biclicles.

Great views, but not too quiet: the street never sleeps - you hear cars passing by all night and the spot is popular, so you will probably not be alone.

3 overlanders at the same time. At 8amblot of tourist bis stopping by to take pictures.
Didn't saw dolphins but it was also raining a lot.

The good: absolutely gorgeous spot. We didn’t see dolphins, but it was so beautiful it didn’t matter stayed one night before Quelat. While near the road, there was no traffic after 7. Only one other campervan.

The bad: there’s only one spot for personal ablutions, and it is way overused and trashy. Saw a fair amount of toilet paper. So I would suggest folks try to take care of their business before coming to this beautiful spot, and definitely take your tp with you if you need to go.

We stayed for one night and enjoyed the quietness of off-season (with only other camper van) and the beautiful green surroundings a lot. Just when we wanted to head off in the next morning at around 10-11am we could see dolphins swimming by. So we can confirm that this is not just an overlander fairy tale! Please leave this outstanding free camping place as beautiful as it is.

Perfect point!! El love it!! Really pacefull at night. Seen dolphins at the morning and otters too!!! very near the shore. Best place to wild camp in camper of all our trip!

We stayed here with 2 other overlanders and 3 big trucks, which arrived late and went early. They had a truck-party here. But the view is fantastic and we enjoyed the sun.

Incredible place to spend a night or two. It is set on top of a cliff with an amazing view to the lake. We didn't see dolphings, but heard you can see them in the morning between 9 and 10. At night it was super nice outside but in the morning it was hard to stay still with all the mosquitoes and the huge flies around, it's the only downside.

Nice place for a night. Not totalky hidden from the road and you hear the cars as it is the limit asphalt/ripio. However it is calm at night. Amazing sunset and many dolphins!

Excellent spot! Very quiet at night, the vehicle is totally hidden from the road behind the huge rock pillar. Within 10 minutes of stopping here we also saw a pod of 10 dolphins and then later a few solo dolphins swam by. The sunset is also spectacular. Loved it!

4runner/rooftent. simple stop as described. cynical other half was impressed when we spotted dolphins cruising by within 10 mins of arrival. also in the morning. not far off road, but it's not busy at this time of year and the view is beautiful.

The cliffs offer a lot of level space and a great view on the beautiful Queulat fjord. Furthermore, the viewpoint is partially hidden from the Carretera Austral by a large rock. Very quiet at night.

Stayed here for one night. Gorgeous view and if you're there in the afternoon you will probably see dolphins. In the night it's very quiet but during the day nobody bothered us either.

Stayed one night. Catch some fish for dinner(JUMMY!). A lot of dolphins, quiet at night, one other camper. Recomment!

Quiet and tranquil — traffic disappears in the evening and you’re all alone facing the water with a huge rock in between you and the road. We saw dolphins, sea lions, and lots of lovely birds. Road crew rolled by late in the morning and waved, but otherwise very private.

This is a quiet and beautiful place! It is right next to the start of the road construction but they close the road daily after 8pm so it is quiet and peaceful at night. The workers were super nice and offered us to use their bathroom and hot water and we should let them know in case we need anything else. The sunset is stunning!!

didn't see any dolphins, but made a good asado and relaxed a few hours. Easy to spend the night and plenty of space, there were six campers here during the day with us. If you need water, fifty metres north is a good stream coming down the mountain.

Estacionamento às margens da Carretera Austral com belo visual para os canais Queulat e Puyhuapi. Pernoitamos neste lugar em época de obras na estrada, mas tudo tranquilo. Lugar sujeito a ventos e com algumas árvores para possível abrigo.
