Description

Follow the costanera-north (las dunas) till the end. Drive further on the dirt road, past the military-camp. App 300mtr. Left directly after the camp. To the sea, as far as you dare. Not more dirty as anywhere else. Lots of birds and crabs, and as a bonus a group of new recruits and the funny things they do.

The only place we wanted to stay with a rooftop tent.
we stayed 7 nights here, never disturbed besides the early morning songs of the soldiers (some of which sound a lot like English nursery rhymes translated to Spanish). The rubbish is disappointing around the beach so we decided to camp in an area of scrub set back from the beach slightly to avoid looking at the rubbish. the further you go onto the beach or towards Peru the cleaner it gets but we didn't want to risk getting stuck.

Not sure why this is marked as closed - it would be nice if you could provide more information if you mark something as closed.

We just camped three nights here with no problems. Really quiet at night, some locals during the day but otherwise you're alone. We stayed out on the beach and closer to the military base without problems.
