New campsite in Puerto Natales since the end of 2016. Gonzalo and Francisca run this place. They speak really good English. The refugio is heated, with a place to cook and three large tables and two couches to sit. You can use all their kitchen equipment and there are a lot of electricity spots in the refugio. Shower time with hot water is 7:00-11:00 and 18:00-23:00. To preserve the water, they would like you to keep your shower time to 5min. Very clean bathroom! 7.000 pesos pp. WiFi works only in common room. The place will be open from October 27 to March 31. They have also laundry service.
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
very nice camping with good facilities. they have 10 spots for campers/canpervans.
Report Check-Ingood place. friendly staff. 8000 pp cash, card 1000 extra. power for motorhome 2000.
Report Check-InFantastic camping ground near the town. Great facilities, nice helpful staff, clean, safe. It’s windy when we arrived so be prepared. Nice communal area for chilling, working, cooking. Clean toilets and showering area. We were very happy with our stay.
Report Check-InSpent 2 nights. Good campsite, the camp spots for motorhome are not so good, only 1 flat spot, no sun/shade options or wind protection. Toilet/shower facilities good, spacious showers with hooks and bench, good water pressure and cleaned daily.
Always staff available at the reception. kind people. Working WiFi, Water filling point, and big plus a place to hang laundry outside with roof.
Safe, quiet at night, little other traffic noise.
Only downside is the ‘check-out’ time at 12.00, which is super early for a camping (it’s not that rooms need to be cleaned or something). They told us to leave even though the camping was completely empty and no other guests were coming in. Or we had to pay for half a day extra. Unnecessary and felt like just looking for extra money. Also it was weird that there were surcharges for electricity ($2000) and paying with card ($150 per person extra)
Camped here before and after doing Torres del Paine. They let us pay to keep our truck camper here while we did the W trek. Good, clean facilities and decent wind protection.
Report Check-InHighly recommend this awesome campground within the city! We fit our big rig inside (tight squeeze through gate but got it through). Very friendly staff, good wifi, hot showers, very clean, beautiful view of water, common area to cook and hang out. Great spot!
Report Check-Invery fine camping with good showers
a lovely inside cooking space. Very friendly staff. 14000 for 2 people and a campervan. Wel worth the price, recommended
Really nice campsite, we have actually returned after visiting Torres de Paine, for a couple more nights. Well sheltered from the wind. Hot showers, very clean, good cooking facilities, Wi-Fi and really helpful staff.
Report Check-InGreat camping with large area, many places for campers and tents. Most of night it’s full !
The floor is not leveled on every places though.
Hot showers, wifi in common area, 15.000 CLP for 2 ppl and 1 camper. Very friendly staff !!
we really liked this place! we wanted to stay one night, but ended up staying three nights. there is a really nice vibe. and everything is really clean also!
Report Check-InIt’s a good no place for motor homes. EXCEPT that there is only 3-4 flat spaces for vehicles. The rest is hard to get flat even when using levelers. Showers are hot and the wifi in the common room is fast. Good place to cook food inside the shelter. Can do laundry for 2k/kg
Report Check-InThe cleanest, best maintained, most organised camping ground we have stayed at since Reykjavik 5 years ago. No hand washing if clothes but they will use their washing machine at a good price. It's so good they have a no-noise policy at night. It's only a block to the bus station (no noise, but very convenient for early morning Torres del Paine departures). Very friendly and helpful.
Report Check-InEverything like said before. In January and February you 7500 pesos each. If you prefer, it’s 9 euros or 9 dollars. Electricity is 3000 extra. No washing of clothes allowed, but there is a washing service available.
Wifi only when you are in the building or very near.
Cool camping, with good facilities. Large communal area inside and outside, with fully equipped kitchen en lots of tables.
Showers are hot and clean.
Place can be really windy, but tent spots are sort of sheltered against the wind.
Report Check-InCamping bem estruturado, pagamos 7000 pp. chuveiros bons, cozinha bem equipada, area para barracas e área para campers con quebra vento.
Report Check-InGreat camping in the town. Nice view and not far from the centre. Price is 7.000 Pesos p.P. if you pay cash (otherwise 8.000 Pesos). It only has space for 10 cars, get's full during the evening. Only 3-4 spaces are levelled, all other are not even!!! Nothing for big rigs. Great amenities, clean kitchen and bathroom (showers only open from 7-11 am and 6-11 pm). WiFi only available in the common room, which is nice and cosy. Electricity at sites available, for 3.000 Pesos. And they have a laundry service for 2.000 Pesos per kilo. I recommend.
Report Check-Inwell located Campsite in Walking distance to town. its true, some of the rv slots are Impossible to Level but 8 are OK. narrow entrance. Clean and good bathrooms. 14.000 pesos for 2 Persons, Car did Not Count.
Report Check-InPerfect camping!
For 7000 CLP pp it top value to service.
Common room warm, clean and fully equipped kitchen. The toilet and bathroom are clean and the water is hot !
Owners and volunteers are very friendly.
There is also space for car/trucks to park inside.
Enjoy your stay.
Report Check-InÓtimo camping, com ducha quente, cozinha, água potável, energia e Wi-Fi.
Report Check-InNice camping in town. They speak English very well. Wifi was really really fast. Shared kitchen had all the necessary tools. If you have a van, check if they have a level/flat space available. Some spots are not level and we would skip this one if we had to camp on such uneven ground. Few levels places for the van.
Report Check-InWe spent 5 nights there, better pay in cash. Clean bathroom and toilet. Hot water in morning and evening. excellent shared kitchen with lot od equipment. warm inside. very windy, on the hill. just small shelters for tents. Very nice staff and owner speaks good English. 7000CLP/ppn in cash
Report Check-InVery nice camping. We spend a night there in our campervan and paid 14’000 for two people and a campervan. They have 12 places for campervans - all with electricity. Wifi works well in the common area where also the kitchen is. Toilets and showers are very clean and the guy who introduced us to the place was very nice and spoke fluently English. We’re highly recommending this place.
Report Check-InGreat campground, Friendly host. Beautiful views, everything was very clean.
Report Check-InReady for 2022/2023 summer season! Camping is open until the end of March. See you soon!
Report Check-InFantastic sunset view. Lots of tents but we were in a van and basically alone on the parking area. Parking spots are not level but it was fine. Showers clean and hot. The sign said full but we asked and they said someone was probably not coming so we could stay. Affordable, 6000pp/pn.
Report Check-Infriendly couple and lovely volunteers keeping the place affordable, clean and efficient for budget travelers. yes the ground is not level and they are planning to lwvel it next season. i like the simple wind blocks they built from wooden palettes. showers are clean and hot. kitchen has equipped with lots of pans, bowls plates whatever you need. good wifi and a nice warm common area.
Report Check-InCamping is mainly for tents. Only 10 spots for campers. You don’t have any privacy at your spot, it’s more like a wide parking lot. As mentioned before, the campground is indeed very unlevel, for us (with a camper) not such a problem as we could fix it with some wood underneath our tires but for tents... wifi only works in the very busy common room (30 people hanging out). Showers were awesome though.
Oh DO NOT go to the lavanderia they point you to, it was ridiculously expensive, we only found out too late. It was around €26 for 8kg.
We arrived around 3pm and had a spot for the night. At 5pm the campground was full. First come first serve, be quick! Good for one night when going to Torres del Paine.
Great campground with all you need. Wifi super fast for us, hot clean showers, nice common room with full kitchen. We had to level the truck camper a bit since campground is on a hillside, but no problem and beautiful views.
Paid 12000 for 2 in a truck camper.
Good campground. 2 blocks from a fast laundry place, not possible at the camping. Wi-Fi very strong in the building. The places are uneven, no problem with Campervan. Hot showers.
Report Check-InWell, i have to dement some things, that le bambi wrote.
The ground is a bit uneven, true. But if u know how to place your tent or your rig, it shouldn't be such a problem to find a comfortable way to sleep. The spaces of four the tents are close together for some reason: The owners of the campground built some windshelters for the tents. In the big room, who is usable for all, it's a big kitchen with everything you need to prepare your food. Even oil, herbs, salt and all that stuff.
Toilets very clean, showers too... in my opinion you get enough for the Money you pay. We recomment it totally. And of top of that, u have a very nice view :)
We can't understand all the positive comments. For the price you get quite little. Let's start with the biggest disadvantage. The whole campground is so uneven that it is super uncomfortable the sleep on (worst camping experience in 6 months in South America). It wouldn't be to difficult to level at least the campsites. The ground has a lot of holes which makes it even more uncomfortable and the grass was not mowned when we stayed there. Even though the campground is quite big, all the tent grounds are squeezed next to each (not even a metre in between). The whole campground area seemed to us very uninviting and seemed more optimised to get as many people as possible to be able to stay on this place. For 6000 pp we found this quite unsatisfying.
The showers were though quite good and the bathrooms clean. As there are not many other good camping options we decided to move to a cheap and lovely hospedaje. The little price difference to the campground but yet the gain in comfort and tranquility seemed more reasonable to us.
Report Check-InEnjoyed this camping very much, one of our favorites in Patagonia! Great atmosphere and view. WiFi didn’t work, but the bus terminal down the road has free WiFi.
Report Check-InGood place. Many facilities. We paid $6000 pesos for each person. Wifi was temporary unavailable.
------------
Bom lugar, muito boa estrutura. Pagamos $6 mil pesos por pessoa. Wifi estava indisponível porque um caminhão arrebentou a fiação.
Price 6000pp with cash, 7000pp with card.
WiFi was slow till not working, but it was busy in the general room. The campsite has no wind shelter for rooftop tents :(
Good option to stay close to the center. Next to a lavanderia. Great showers, fast WiFi.
Report Check-InNice operators. Camping slightly sloping. Common room with kitchen. Sanitary facilities clean and functional.
Report Check-InGood campground, many spots for vehicles, but not level. Many protected spots for tents. Bathrooms were clean, tp, nice hot shower. The refugio was really cozy, kitchen, couches, and many tables. Fast WiFi, but does not reach parking area. Good for big rigs. Price is 6,000pp, 2,000 extra if you need electricity.
Report Check-InCamping just outside the city center. 6000pp plus 2000 if you need electricity for motorhome/camper. Very hot showers inside a warm building, clean toilets. It has also a big and good equipped dining room where to cook, eat, wash dishes or just spend some time in a hot (outside is quite cold also in summer) and friendly environment.
The only one "negative" point is that is not easy to find a flat position for the motorhome so you need to adjust with woods/stones to levelize the floor.
We expected better for the price. Most spots not very level, wifi only works in common room and downloading and video chatting are not permitted. And it's slow. On positive side showers are hot with good pressure, there was TP in the clean banos. Excellent cell reception. We also were told you cannot fill your water tank. For what you get, we felt 6000 pp is too much especially as that does not include power but our friends were here and we wanted laundry done and at 1500 per kg, it's the cheapest in town.
Report Check-Incamping was ok and as stated before. nice view over the city and to the mountains.
Report Check-InVery nice Camping 6000cp pP and if you need power 2000cp pD. Clean bathroom, good showers and good common room. Unfotunately most spaces for campers al not level.
Report Check-InSee other descriptions.
No extra information.
12000 2 pax + travelcar
very nice camping, all the necessary for overlander.
6.000 clp pp
2.000 clp extra for electricity
Still 6000 p.p. The property is fenced in all sides. We parked our motorcycles in one of the 4x4/rig spots. Although we prefer the bikes next to the tent, they were safe.
Report Check-InThe entry is in the corner of 21 de Mayo and Sarmiento street. Just talk with the person in reception and she/he will open the front gate!!
Report Check-Incamping Guino will open on November 1, 2018 until March 31, 2019.
Report Check-InCertainement des gens sympas, mais il n’y a personne, et rien n’indique si c’est une question d’horaire ou de saison...
Report Check-InGood place to stop in Puerto Natales. Urban surrounding. Placed on the slope so you might need to level up your vehicle to sleep in. Full of backpackers and cyclists. Nice and warm common area - the shelter/hut is really useful during unstable weather. Hot showers, big cooking area, wifi, gsm range. 6000 per person.
Report Check-InWe really enjoyed camping here for 5 days. Friendly staff. Clean restrooms and showers. Cozy common area with kitchen and dining tables. Good wifi. Charging station. Lockers and they play fun movies and documentaries. Francisca and Gonzalo (the owners) and their staff of volunteers were awesome! There’s laundry service with an actual dryer too! You’ll need to level out your rig for now but they will be working on that soon.
Report Check-InGood camping, hot shower until 23:00, kitchen 00:00, very cool common área, the camp área have divisions for each tend, a space to leave cars, about 10-15 cars i guess, 6000 clp pp.
Camping really cool ! The common area is large, and great to meet people. The place is handled by volunteers. Limited to 50 people, and full every night, don't hesitate to book before. Website campinguino.com.
Report Check-InWe've camped for the last 7 weeks in Chile & this campsite is definitely one of the best we've stayed at. The owners have put a lot of thought into details such as solar lighting to/from the bathrooms at night, having each tent space protected from the wind with wooden panelling, really well displayed info, a social space which is big enough for all the campers here & a well equipped kitchen with ¡sharp knives!...and toilets with ¡toilet roll and soap! (a rarity for most of our trip!) ...not to mention that for the last several hours the owners have hardly sat down as they've been constantly providing information on Torres del Paine to new arrivals (you may already know that useful information is not easy to get about TDP / camping options etc as an independent traveller).
It is possible - and advisable - to book ahead at this site. Highly recommended & worth the $6000pp because of all the extra effort they put into making sure their guests get the most out of their time in Torres del Paine. Respect to them! :)
Report Check-InIn addition to the other already mentioned information, they offer washing of your cloth with washing machine for $ 1800 per kg.
Really nice and friendly with some levelled spots also for camper vans.
Costs 6000pesos per person. Spacious and warm common area, showed a good movie on the projector at the evening. Camping spots are very wet during the rain and only cold water in the bathrooms' sinks. No washing of clothes is allowed and generally they have tons of rules written everywhere... for example "do not steal toilet paper". Checkout a bit early - at noon. Otherwise - great! Good WiFi.
Report Check-In(Eng.)Nice place. has a common area with kitchen reminiscent of a Hostel. several trekkers camp here before going to Torres Del Paine. now with good wifi depending on how many people are using it. 6000 pesos pp.
(Port.)
Report Check-Innice new campground. good clean sanitair. trees still need to grow a bit to provide more shelter against the wind :-). nice common area with a kitchen! good place to stay!
Report Check-InGreat place to spend the night with very nice views and a big cozy kitchen. 6000 pp with campervan.
Report Check-Inyes, hot shower and wifi and wachingmachine great place nice and clean! and friendly owner!
Report Check-InAs above. The manager is extremely efficient and very friendly. Excellent shelter, clean and stylish, well designed
Report Check-InGreat place with clean toilets & really hot and good pressure showers! Now have wifi, and will be getting a washing machine soon. Well appointed kitchen with ovens! Spacious common room with tables. Owner speaks English as well. Very helpful answering questions about the area, really friendly staff. Beautiful view. Big rig friendly.
Report Check-InNice place! Clean showers and toilets, tissues available. 6.000 pesos pp. Information flyers about this city, NP Torres del Paine, Seno Obstrucción, Provincia de Magallanes/Tierra del Fuego and about Transbordador Austral Broom (to Eden/Tortel/Yungay) available in the refugio. We would really recommend this place. Always open.
Report Check-InReally lovely and new looking campsite with well designed and welcoming Refugio to cook in, great bathrooms with clean showers and hand soap. It wasn't signposted with a camping sign when we arrived at night, just a grey metal fence with an opening where it is positioned on iOverlander, we poked our head through the door and saw the welcoming looking Refugio. There are little wooden compartments to put your tent in as wind protection. Was 5000pp. Very positive revue! I recommend!
Report Check-Incamping nuevo con baños limpios y cocina grande. personal amable
