Description
There is no camping around in Huye, but we found this place. It is at the coffee washing and drying factory of the Huye Mountain Coffee company. Space for one to two cars, basic ablutions, nice view, in a village, but not that much attention, only a few kids. Security and the guide of the company live there as well.

We stayed here for one night. He asked for 10'000pppn AND Tip! We just gave him money for the night and no extra money. The price is already overpriced for what you get, but was the only thing arround that we found and a safe place for one night.
Report Check-InVery interesting place at the coffee drying facility. Before you going to this place ask for Eric at the office at the main road a few 100 meters away.
We did the coffee tour with Eric and can highly recommend this. He also can arrange other tours too. We spent a pleasant night there.

Basic but rather lovely camping in the car park of the coffee drying facility. Coffee very good value at RWF6000/500g. As previously described. Charges are now:
Camping only RWF10,000 pppn
Camping + Long coffee tour RWF30,000 pp
Camping + Short coffee tour RWF20,000 pp.
Drove past the cafe and met Eric. He said we can stay for free if we do the coffee tour. Which we did the following morning. You camp just outside the coffee roasting building with access to a very basic toilet and shower. Worker around until 5 then very quiet. A bit hard to find a leveled spot though
Report Check-InVery accommodating people running the place. They made us welcome straight away. Drive way or cement area for car with RTT. Toilet and cold water shower available. Even let us hook up our electricity. Security at night. Felt very safe.
Report Check-InVery welcoming people, everything as described. Enjoyed our stay very much and left a donation for the community. Very good place to stay for a night. If you like to do a coffee farm tour or other activities talk to Eric, he`s running a tour company.
