I like staying the the top of passes because it tends to be quieter than the hills. The Colorado trail is right here and the views are beautiful.

Good area, nice sleep. Had a plow come in from 5:00-5:30 but other than that had no interruptions. Would stay here again, great views.
Report Check-InPeaceful night at the Molas Pass Summit. It’s late April and the snow in the parking lot was mostly plowed, bathrooms are not open yet, and walkways still have some snow.
At this time of year, other than a dry flat parking surface, there are no amenities however, the 360 views are spectacular and well worth an overnight stay or a stop in as you’re passing by.
No signs to indicate that parking overnight is prohibited.
