A large leveled open area in the middle of the jungle next to Machuwasi lagoon. There are trash bins and benches. We asked the guy who works at the lagoon down, and he said it was okay to stay here. Nobody was around during the evening or the next day. Wake up to the sounds of various exotic birds. Very cool place.

Stayed 2 nights after coming back from Manu national park. Great spot. Coming through the narrow bush path, it feels very secluded yet the space itself is big and very open. Bird & jungle sounds all day long. Beautiful stargazing.
