Flat and quiet. No one bothers if one parks here. Lots of trees around. We slept here to hike the Pipeline Road the next morning. To enter Gamboa one has to cross a bridge which is restricted to 10 tons.

good spot for the night on an old parking lot. spots are concrete floored, mostly level and for all sized vehicles. spot offers more privacy than the one down by the canal. but community is very friendly and does not care if and where you stay. We liked the afternoon down by the canal, short stop at the shower by the soccer field and a quiet night here with a lot of birds in the morning. (friends told us about open Wi-Fi close the old research station but did not check)
Report Check-InWe spent a few days here without any problems. Nice quiet and a lot of wildlife, but don't stay near the water (pretty smelly but a lot of frogs to watch). Police walked by but did not say anything.
Report Check-InQuiet place with policemen checking regulalrly during the night. A few trains horning just in front of the parking, but did let us sleep without problem.
Just in front of the Panamá canal so you can see cargos in front of your camper !
