Pretty much as described. As Covid-19 restrictions were lifted, camping is permitted for a 50 pesos fee/day. Hot showers only on women's toilet; electric outlets only near the bathroom, so bring an extension cord. Pretty reasonably priced snack bar, opened until 19:30. Can be reached by Lagunon bus from downtown Rivera. Locals told me to avoid setting up camping close to the lake, being safer next to the entrance.

Beautiful place. Used to be a zoo but now its an open park. Theres water and electricity.

Nice views, nice people, and far from the noisy Rivera!

lovely place in the middle of chaos! when waking up in the morning after a good night's sleep, watching the sun rising the fish jumping and listening to y the birds singing. You would never believe your just a few k's outside of the busy Rivera. .great place to stay...

Parque Municipal, com várias áreas para camping, porém com poucos pontos com energia funcionando assim como poucos pontos com água. Possui uma represa com praia para banho. É uma ótima opção para quem vai desfrutar a cidade de Rivera. O local é grátis. Para RV muito alto é necessário entrar pelo portão à esquerda. Não existe dificuldade para grandes RV.
