a parking lot on the malacon at an abandoned Cineplex. great view of the water and a nice breeze. some traffic noise but the waves drown it out. there is security on site (named Manuel) and he was happy to let us stay here and offered to keep an eye on us. we gave him our leftover little Caesars, which is nearby. There's also a pemex and oxxo nearby. we asked another local and said it is safe to spend a night here.

We parked near the Pemex. It was very quiet, some locals stopped during the week end to ask if we need something. Pemex staff allowed us to fill some gallons (they have a pipe with good water pressure). We went to the beach, a lot of garbage and waves are very strong but funny for surfing. Marketplaces are available behind the parking (aurora bodega, Soriano, Walmart, etc.) and laundry.
Report Check-InI should add, after I made the original post, the policia stopped by around 1130pm. They seemed nice and when I told them I had permission and we were staying one night they left.
