A good place to stay on this road. 90R pp plus 50R bathroom key deposit. Hot showers. Bathrooms dated but they are clean and had new shower curtains when we visited. Unsure whether restaurant is open.

Nice campsite with cared grassy underground

A little bit decent everything, but clean ablutions, nice grassy pitches with view over the dam.
We paid 70 ZAR ppn.
Showers are hot.
For one night really okay.

Lovely peaceful camping spot overlooking the dam and country side. Paid R70pp per night and R40 for kids per night, plus a R50 deposit for ablution keys. Ablutions are old, but kept clean and nice hot showers. Nice playground for kids. There is a restaurant and pool onsite, but we did not use so cannot comment. Loads of space, and nice green grass on camping sites. Close to Volksrust town where you can get supplies.

Still nice place, perfect green short grass, we paid 70 pp + 50 for car.
There were very loud music from other campsite but it was Freedom Day and Saturday so maybe it was the reason.

Lovely, peaceful spot. Perfect for early morning winter sun. Still 60 Rand pppn. Will definitely come again, maybe even stay a few days as MTN signal pretty good.

Still a decent place for an overnight stay. Lovely grassy sites and great view over the lake and mountains. Very cheap @120 ZAR for 2 plus car.

Good place for overnight near Volkrust, decent ablutions, good value 120rand for two adults and out truck, right at the Dam, quiet and secure
