The road to the campsite is quite steep and gravelly so we didn't end up staying, but would have liked to. Just FYI if you have a small rental car like we did!

Great place to stay, stunning views of the mountains and new clean facilities. I spoke with the owner and he is a really nice guy.

Great Campspot with stunning Views! New and clean bathrooms with hot showers (good pressure). Outdoor sinkt to clean your dishes. Victor is a really lovely and nice host :)

What a wonderful place! Caro and Victor are overlanders themselves and have been creating a little oasis with a spectacular view, new and clean hot showers and toilets, kitchen sink, barbecue area, spacious sites for all sizes of vehicles and tents, dumping station, water and big hearts and open arms for overlanders. We had problems with our car and he helped us a lot to get things sorted out and connect to local mechanics. Highly recommended, don't miss this wonderful site!
Better contact Victor before you come (see first comment).

Beautiful campground, embedded in nature with incredible view plus private mirador! Super helpful owner. New and clean showers and toilets. We came here by accident and stayed because we loved it.

Great little campsite! It has a lovely view on cerro castillo from each site. A little walk brings you to its private viewpoint to enjoy a mate or a glass of wine. Showers are hot, clean and with good pressure. Internet connection is fast and reaches to sites in download quality. Last but not least, lovely hosts!

The campsite with the nicest views we had in the last couple weeks and also with some of the nicest owners.

The work on the campsite is still a bit in progress. There are no manmade sheltes, but it's possible to put your tent close to the trees to get some shelter. The showers work great and have nice, hot water and the entire shower/toiletblock is very clean.

The place we put our campervan was also flat and easy to reach. Big rigs and vehicles with rooftop-tents will also have no problem finding a place here.

The Chilean owners speak better English than most other travellers I meet. So if your Spanish isn't the best you won't have any problem communicating. They know their local community well and are able to help you with any problem you may have.

They're also very friendly and tried to build a small community here. You can stay at your tent of vehicle without any problem if you want, but you can also sit at the central table with others and even more amazing views.

I would recommend this place.

We can highly recommend this camp ground. Clean and well maintained bathrooms and hot showers. Quietly embedded in nature with wonderful views. Very nice owners with a heart for overlanders. Just a few minutes drive from Villa Cerro Castillo. Be sure to take the hike to Laguna Castillo. Enjoy your break!
