Report Check-InGood place to sleep. Arrived fairly early, went into Walmart to shop, people inside are nice. Spent time making dinner in the parking lot. Had a great sleep and woke up at 8:30am. Used the Walmart bathroom, made coffee and left. I’d say this is a great spot before arriving in Washington DC or after you’ve left Washington DC like we did. Lots of spots, we stayed close to two RV’s. Quiet, plenty of tree shade. Just a heads up, inside Walmart they have no meat or fresh fruit/veg. They only have non perishables and frozen stuff.
Report Check-InStayed one night. All was fine. No rigs. But enough cars parked overnight to feel comfy
Report Check-InI called ahead to ask if we could park overnight and got one of the most enthusiastic welcomes ever. His reply was a resounding, "Absolutely."
It was fairly quiet.
